Such a sweet spot! We really enjoyed staying here. The location is excellent, so close to Commercial but in a nice residential area. The provision of breakfast made us feel even more at home. I will definitely stay here again.
Great little place. Kriszta was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Supplying a breakfast of fresh bread, organic jams, fruits and milk was a really nice touch! Would absolutely stay again.
We were totally satisfied with our experience and we'd stay here again. The house was clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated, and we were pleasantly surprised by all the tasty extras in the kitchen.
Kriszta's studio was a lovely place to stay. It was a beautiful, cozy space and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Kriszta was a wonderful host and gave some great recomendations of nearby eateries. The neighborhood was very fun, many restaurants and coffee shops just two blocks away. I will definitely be back.
Kriszta was very welcoming and the place was PERFECT! The stand alone guest house was beautiful, conveniently located, comfortable and clean. Tea/coffee and organic fruits, bread and milk was a great perk! So nice to just have snacks available without having to go out in the rain to shop for groceries. Couldn't ask for more, and would definitely stay there again.
Our host, Kriszta, was lovely and accommodating. We arrived at her lovely home off the drive and she settled us in, providing all and more that was promised. Her little lane house get away was perfect for my boyfriend, brother, and myself to stay with two comfy beds. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
The listing description was very accurate, with the addition of more possibilities for cooking than I was expecting (microwave, toaster and an electric pan suitable for frying or simmering). The neighbourhood is great, and I loved the walk to the Sky Train Station to get downtown (about 15-20 minutes walking to the station without a stop at one of the lovely coffee places and 10 minutes or so on the train to Waterfront). Kriszta was out of town but was in contact by email and made sure I was greeted and showed into the property on arrival, and her husband looked in and had left me fruit, coffee and bread for my breakfasts. The Studio was clean and well maintained and I was really comfortable, with an excellent balance of privacy and helpful contact with the host if I needed anything and to check I was OK.

I am a Vancouver artist showing my work locally and internationally. I also write fiction and translate academic books and articles. I love to listen to the blues, jazz and world music. My husband and I enjoy the company of a culturally diverse group of friends and excited to open our house to new ones. As my motto, I like to combine the pessimism of the intellect with the optimism of the will, to paraphrase Gramsci.
