The space
As you walk down the stone path toward the front door, you are greeted by wildflowers along a rustic wood fence and wind-spinners. These earthen burrows have lovely wildflowers and clover on their rooftops above the intricate stone work, circular windows and arched doorways that invite you to explore within. Upon entering (on “party business” only, of course), you are welcomed by the large, live-edge solid wood dining table next to the gourmet kitchen complete with all the creature comforts of home, including a slow cooker, rice-maker, blender, and everything you need to whip up a yummy breakfast – perhaps even a SECOND breakfast. Glance above and notice the arched ceiling uniquely decorated by natural tree log beams, along with rustic chandeliers to brighten the enclave.
Don’t let the old world charm fool you, because unlike the halflings, your earthen dwelling comes exquisitely equipped with modern luxuries that even the elves could never fathom, such as a shiatsu massage chair, bidet toilets with warm seats, a Pac-man arcade with 14 classic nostalgic games, as well as huge smart TVs.
The central focus of the living room is the floor to ceiling stone fireplace with a gnarly log mantle. Sit back and relax on the angler-themed queen sleeper sofa, or the leather recliner, or work out those muscle knots with the shiatsu massage chair! Gather around the fireplace and enjoy a cup of coffee or espresso while you talk about your adventures of the day, or simply stream your favorite adventure on the large smart TV.
The hallway bathrooms are fully outfitted with bidets, warm toilet seats, rustic stone-like showers, and elegant granite vanities with above-the-counter colored glass bowl sinks. Pamper yourselves like the royal guests that you are!
You will be greeted by three spacious bedrooms and three full bathrooms offering plenty of room for all of your companions. The unique decor of this secret home, with its rustic charm and halfling comforts, will soothe your soul as you embark on a vacation filled with wonder and heart-warming memories. Every bedroom has a fireplace, both for warmth and for the ambience. The rustic king & queen log beds and quality comfortable mattresses will ensure a restful night of sleep as you dream of enchanted forests, ethereal elven landscapes, fierce wizards, or slaying of orcs and beasts.
The master bedroom is the envy of the clan – a genuine leather recliner in the corner is perfect for a private retreat away from the bustle, plus you’ve got a larger ensuite bathroom with elegant dual sink vanity and a Victorian clawfoot bathtub fit for royalty.
Outside on the patio, you will find a couple of hickory rocking chairs where you can watch the fireflies as you reminisce about your past adventures, “there and back again.”
Or you can climb into a luxurious stone surround 6-person hot tub with privacy screens and string lights above, perfect time to hang out and soak away the sore muscles from all the trekking and trailblazing.
If you must peel away from your magical sojourn to accomplish earthly tasks, there is a dedicated work space with high-speed internet. Or perhaps, you just might sit down and author your own folk lore while staying at such an inspirational enclave. If you manage to venture out of the Forest…you will find a world of fun and exciting entertainment all within a 30-40 minute drive, including Dollywood, Gatlinburg and all the surrounding attractions close to the breathtaking Smoky Mountains National Park.

Other things to note
About the Hot Tub:
Please shower before entering the hot tub. Use the hot tub at your own risk. Do not use it if you are pregnant, or have a medical condition that would put you at risk for using a hot tub. After each use, it is important that you fully close and click in the snap closures of the hot tub cover. Keep children under supervision at all times.
Community Under Construction:
Some of the houses at the Forgotten Forest are still under construction. So please bear with us as during business hours on weekdays there may be some construction noise and traffic. Absolutely peaceful in the mornings, evenings and weekends however :)
