Although we never had the opportunity to meet Som due to a busy trip to Madison, he was a considerate and generous host. The room was very clean and spacious, his instructions were comprehensive and detailed, and he checked in to make sure our stay was going well. It was our first Airbnb experience, and we enjoyed it!
My husband and I had a great stay at Som's. We had our independence, but still felt welcomed in Som's home. We would definitely stay here again!
Great place! Huge bedroom with desk + bathroom. I am not an aminal person but shelby is an amazing dog! Som was able to help me with everything I need. Thank you
Som was a great host & has a charming home that is a very short bus ride or walk (maybe not in January!) from the heart of downtown. He was kind enough to come and pick me up from the airport and very welcoming. I would very much recommend this location to stay on your next trip to Madison.
Som and I corresponded many times before our arrival. He helped plan out our craft beer tour. Som and Shelby both greeted us upon arrival. The room and house were very clean and just as the pictures listed on line. It was a very walkable location to nearby eating and drinking establishments.
Som is a wonderful and welcoming host who went out of his way to be accommodating. He picked me up at the airport, and even took me to a drug store when I needed to pick up a prescription. His home is immaculate and comfortable. He seems to enjoy hosting people, and happy to provide information if needed.
My husband and I stayed there for a night. Everything went perfectly. Som was helpful in every way possible ; he gave us tips on restaurants, tips that worked out great.
The house is perfectly located we walked to go get food. His dog was really nice :-)
We will definitely go back if the occasion present itself...

I've lived in Madison for over 10 years now and absolutely love it. Madison is the only city in the world built on an ishtmus (the strip of land between two lakes), and I'm fortunate enough to live on that isthmus.
By profession I am a project manager. I've spent the last 8 years helping to design and implement IT systems projects for insurance companies around Madison. I recently received my MBA from the UW-Madison.
In my personal time I train for Ironman and other triahtlons, explore Madison's amazing restaurant scene, and volunteer with my local Rotary club.
My dog Shelby has been my companion for over 10 years now. She was a handful as a puppy, but has grown into a gentle and calm old girl. I walk several miles a day with her rain or shine, and I love that she keeps me active.
