The neighborhood was as described, very near and walkable to everything we needed in Athens, yet the apartment was on a quiet mostly residential street . The apartment itself was beautifully homey and well appointed. Our host was very welcoming and helpful prior to our arrival as well as greeting us there very warmly. She arranged things for us as well as provided a thorough guide to Athens that she had compiled. This was our first airbnb experience and it exceeded all expectations and hopes in every way. We will be traveling this way from now on!
Magda's place is all that we had hoped and more. It felt like home. We were able to walk to all of the major tourist attractions as well as many restaurants. We took advantage of Magda's recommendations and enjoyed some great authentic Greek food as well as a beautiful view of the Acropolis under light. The apartment is clean, spacious, quiet and nice and cool on a hot day. Magda was very quick to respond to my messages and it was great to have a taxi for our airport transfers.
This was a fantastic place! It was spacious, clean and a great location. Magda met us upon our arrival and gave us very helpful suggestions about what to do and see. Couldn't have been happier with our stay and we highly recommend!
Magda's apartment was beautifully appointed, located in a superb central location (yet quiet and peaceful day & night), and was wonderfully provisioned (even down to a bottle of beer). Although we didn't get to meet Magda (due to a later than scheduled arrival), she organised for pick up and drop off to the airport with a very nice driver and made herself available to answer any questions upon arrival and during our stay by local phone call. All her recommendations for both things to do and places to dine proved 'spot on'.
Thank you Magda for making our stay so enjoyable!
Our experience at Magda house was great. The house is perfectly located, furnished and more than clean
Magda offer her help in every moment and all the tips she gave us were amazing
As an example, I can say that before going to Magda house I stayed in a 4 stars hotel in Athens for one night and if I compare both experiences, I will defintly chose to stay at Magda house once again.
I can not imaging a better host.
Magda when you retire please think about the possibility of dedicate your time into the turism business. Your passion and dedication makes people fell better than in their own house. I can only say that definetly you was born for that.
Thank you, Thank you and thank you!!!!!
Hope to see you and Athens soon!!!!!
Ah ! Ubicación genial ! En la mejor zona!. Si volvieramos algun dia a Atenas querriamos el mismo apto y a Magda!

About the Host, Magdalena
I am Greek/Italian with two children spending lots of time between my two countries. I am a restaurant critic and therefore I like cooking, gardening, sailing around the islands and reading lots of books. Most of all I love hosting people, make them feel at home even if far away from their homes.
