Hi, my name is Cristina and my house it’s a beautiful flat in the middle of the oldest and most typical neighbourhood in the city: Alfama.
I have a room, in my house, with a nice view for a playground, trees and river, available for a couple who want to come to spend a few days here.
I provide to you:
- bedding and towels;
- Internet Wireless;
You can use the kitchen (you can cook here), the bathroom and the living room.
I live in the flat with two small pets: an old dog and a blue-eyed cat. So, we'll be sharing the place with you. We are friendly, no worries! :))
I'll be available to give you some good tips about what to visit, where and what to eat, what to do in Lisbon and help you in anything you need. It's always a pleasure to help my guests to have a great time in Lisbon! :)
(If you prefer to stay on your own but with someone near to help you in anything you need, I have an entire apartment to rent, at the same building, just take look at my other listings, on the right side of this page)
My flat stays in the 3rd floor of an old building. The building, atending to its age, doesn't have lift (as the majority of the alfama's buildings). The oldest people living here told me that it was a convent in its earliest days. I believe so :)
You will be inside of one of the famous places to visit in Lisbon! You'll be about 5 minutes walking distance from some famous places as the Feira da Ladra (flea market), many churches (Igreja de Sto Estevão, Igreja de São Vicente and Igreja de S. Miguel), the astonishing Panteão Nacional, Fado Museum (fado music is now Unesco patrimony!) and lots of fabulous viewpoints and gardens.
You'll be very near (about 5 minutes walking to) to the Santa Apolónia Station, where you can find the main public transport, like bus, train and metro. And guess what: you'll be about 5 minutes walking from one of the tram 28 stop!!
Alfama has got the most famous fado restaurants in the city, where you can hear people singing fado while you eat delicious portuguese food. In the neighbourhood, by night, you have also some pubs and the famous disco "Lux". If you want to go to Bairro Alto, one of the neighbourhoods full of night life in the city, you can go by metro (10 minutes) or walking (30 minutes).
You can park your car, without any problem or charge, close to Panteão Nacional.
Whatelse? So many things! Ask me, I'll tell you everything!
Christina has been a really wonderful host. Very enthusiastic about Lissabon and her neighborhood. She told us about all nice place to visit. Her rooms were super clean and cosy with an extraordinary view over alfama and the river Tejo! :-)
We still feel so sorry that your lovely dog died and understand that you have been so sad about that. No worries, there will be good times again, especially when you share your flat with nice guests. If we will come back to Lissabon, we will definitely check first, if Christinas rooms are available.
All the best for you, Kristina
We came to Portugal to explore the two main Cities of Porto and Lisboa. Onour last four days we were living in Christina's appartement. We definetly enjoyed our visit in Alfama very much. We had a great time there with Christina and her pets, as it was a nice base for exploring the environment.
She gave us a lot of useful information what we appreciated a lot.
We strongly recommend this appartment to everybody who wants to explore Lisbon while living in the wonderful part of town Alfama!
Thanks for everything!
Thomas & Maxie
We had a great experience with Cristina! She was extremely helpful, hospitable, and very friendly (as were her cat and dog). Having her in the apartment wasn't a burden at all. The neighborhood of Alfama is very authentic and different, a lot of steep and narrow streets. It's a 10/15 minute walk to the central area. Overall a great time! Thanks Cristina :)
Location of the flat is very good. Christina is a realy nice person, giving us great tipps for our short stay in Lisboa.
In the beautiful old Alfama it was good to be in the House by Christina. She is friendly, helpful and gives good advice.
A nice stay with scenic views.
Had a great stay with Cristina in the lovely neighborhood of Alfama. Amazing location, lovely host, comfy bed and apartment, and made our stay in Lisbon very enjoyable!
We had an amazing time in Lisbon, especially thanks to Cristina. Her flat is very well located, close to everything but still calm and quiet. Cristina was the perfect host and gave us good advices. Warmly recommended!
Cristina is the best host i have met, setting the bar quite high as far as AirBnBers are concerned!
