Other things to note
We are located 7 miles from Lake Hope State Park, they have a nice lake you can fish, hike, rent small boats or enjoy the beach. There is also the Lake Hope Lodge that has a nice restaurant. Uncle Bucks Riding Stable is just down the road, horseback rides to Moonville Tunnel or through the state forest are available. Moonville tunnel is about 4 mile drive from here. A short walk from the road will take you to the haunted historical tunnel. Thirty minute drive gets you to Athens OH, where you could visit the wonderful farmers Market or the historic Dairy Barn art center, or a 20 min. drive will get you to McArthur. Located 30 miles from Hocking Hill State Park. Three miles down 356 turn right and you will be at Raccoon Creek Outfitters in which they will rent you a canoe or Kayak and take you to one of the prettiest water and wildlife in Southern Ohio. Down our road 3 miles to the stop sign and turn left and just down the hill is LOOK OUT Rock, which looks out over the valley Lewis and Clark took from Athens to McArthur. And of course just a little further is Moonville Tunnel! Several more miles down the road coming to a stop sign turn right takes you to Hope School House the school for the town of Moonville. If you go straight at the stop sign another 100 yards is another stop sign your headlights will be shining over Lake Hope Dam. To the left and then right is the boat house and the beach, where there are showers and place to rent boats for the scenic Lake. If you throw crackers at the boat house you will see 3 foot cat fish. Back at the stop sign if you go left is the Lake with hiking trails on the right then the next road up on the left takes you to the great Lake Hope Lodge and Dining. Great views, many get married there. Just past the lodge entrance is Hope Furnace. Then travel further to Rt. 56 then turn left and It will take you to Old Man Caves, the great Hocking Hills.

My work: farmer
Speaks English
I have been an elderly care giver in Athens Oh for over 25 years and now my husband and I are semi retired farmers, with cows and chickens. We are into green energy with a wind turbine and solar on site. We try to be a self sufficient farm raising and growing most of our own food. We have 3 onsite green houses. Really enjoy recycling turning others junk into our treasures. We also are sellers on Ebay with 2 sites karmaswindfarm and 1975trish, most of the items in our home have or will be for sale on Ebay, if you see something you like, please feel free to discuss or make an offer.
