Situated at the headwaters of the stunning Lake Wakatipu and only a 40min scenic drive from Queenstown, Glenorchy offers world-class scenery and an array of memorable experiences for all.

The Glenorchy Mountain Retreat is located at the rear of our property. Guests access is via a private path from your roadside carpark.

Other things to note
Please be aware that amenities are limited to a small grocery store and petrol station (no ATM). We would recommend you do your grocery shop and get cash (as needed) in Queenstown.

Celebrated chef Pete Gowron (former Head Chef at the renowned Saffron in Arrowtown) hosts an incredible three-course dining experience at the Headwaters Eco Lodge, only 5 mins walk from the Glenorchy Mountain Retreat.
