Your host is an author-publisher who makes a great fruit salad :-)
The sea breeze keeps the houses cool. The black-sand beach provides ample swimming opportunities during good weather, while the sheltered swimming pool in the garden is good to swim in day and night, in all weather conditions.
This listing is for "Bale Gede" or central pavilion PLUS "Bale Bengong" or open pavilion in the garden. The Central Pavilion consists of a living room, a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and a twin-bed room upstairs. Up to six people can comfortably share this space.
This space is also available as three listings - see our profile to check them out
Guests have access to a shared poool (with its own bathroom & toilet) as well as the shared kitchen and dining room. Breakfast is included, and you can join communal lunches and dinners with overnight notice. Shared parking space is available for guests coming from the main road. There is also a separate access to the beach which is usually locked from the inside.
Interaction with Guests
We invite you to join the table at breakfast time (7:30 - 9 am). If you prefer to have your breakfast later you'll find it in the fridge with your name on it. Do tell us what kind of breakfast you like.
Just over 100m to a surf beach that is popular wiith locals on Sundays, attracting a range of snack vendors, the neighborhood is relatively quiet and peaceful during the week, yet close enough to walk to Sanur, and easily access most parts of Bali via the Ngurah Rai and Ida Bagus Mantra Bypass roads. We can arrange driver with a car or rental motorbike, or bicycles with prior warning.
The most ideal way to get around is by bicycle or motor bike, which we can help you rent from third parties. We have enough space for bikes in the shared car parks, as well as for up to 5 cars. Currently residents own 3 cars, so there are two spare spaces.
We are on Jalan Padang Galak, which is inland from the main Bypas Ngurah Rai Road. Bali's new Sarbagita Busway system plies the bypass every 15 minutes from 6 AM to 9 AM, and some of these busses go all the way to the airport, while most go to Kuta and Nusa Dua.
It is theoretically possible to arrive at the airport and catch the bus to Sanur, but airport authorities under pressure from the taxi companies do not publicise this - nor do they make the bus stopping points easy to find.
The closest bus stop is 1km walk away, so we recommend guests who need help arriving here to stop closer to Sanur and meet at the KFC or Dunkin Donuts instead.
First-time guests are expected to arrive during daylight hours unless having arranged to meet or be picked up at the Sanur KFC / Airport. Once settled in, guests are to help ensure the beach and pool gates are latched.
We were warmly welcomed by the family and we got help and good ideas for every step of our holiday planning and travel arrangements. The hosts took care of our every need, even after we had continued our journey. We enjoyed staying at the place. The bungalows are simple and to some extend a refreshment would be advisable. Furthermore it would be advisable to clean the rooms and bathroom at least every other day.
Милое место совсем рядом с океаном, огромные волны для занятия сёрфингом, домик изолирован от шума города, впечатления положительные
Nelokin Pasih is your home away from home. The hosts are a wonderful family who take care of your every need - they're great fun, as well. The accommodation is right on the beach with wonderful sea breezes every afternoon. Next door are the rice fields that also host the kite festival every year. It's a pleasant beach walk to warungs and restaurants. The villa is very spacious with a wonderful outdoor lounge area and great views. I'm sure all visitors to Bali will enjoy Nelokin Pasih.

Born and raised in Bali until graduating from highschool, I pursued tertiary education in New Zealand and Canada. I'm now living in Bali where I manage my grandfather's homestay. This AirBnB account is created mostly to help my mum (born in NZ, has lived in Bali for over 40 years) get guests for her BnB.
