Little rustic cabin with charm in quiet country neighborhood near many fine places to hike, kayak, eat out, taste wine. In the spring through summer great outdoor farmers markets nearby. No wifi, good place to relax. Small fridge. Nature welcomes.
Cozy one-bedroom rustic country cabin on an artist's one-acre property in W. Sonoma County above Freestone and Occidental, colorful, charming, hip country towns. No kitchen but you can make hot tea or coffee. We provide baked goods and local seasonal fruit. Bathroom with claw foot tub/shower. Note: The shower is not equipped for the handicapped. Area outside to sit and contemplate nature.
Artist's studio on property, lots of trees but sunny area.
Ten minutes to wine tasting, Wild Flour brick oven bakery, artisan cheeses, and Osmosis Day Spa. Short drive or bike ride to the Pacific Ocean and the Russian River. Hiking closeby. Gourmet restaurants. From June to October, Friday night organic Farmers Market in Occidental.
Neighborhood mix of redwoods and apple orchards, pastoral, quiet, lots of birds, deer and other critters.
Nearby many adventures await.
Hike in the redwoods, Fitzpatrick Old Grove, Armstrong Redwoods, or at the coast, Kayak or canoe the Russian River. Taste champagne and tour Korbel or Iron Horse Vineyards. Rent horses and ride on the beach. Eat gourmet meals, visit organic farms and cheese makers, eat oysters at Rocker Oysterfellers. Enjoy cultural events-music, theater, art and book launches- at Occidental Center for the Arts, hear music at Hop Monk Tavern, Negri's, Aubergine, The Green Center at SSU or at the Wells Fargo Center. Make arrangements to visit artists in their studios via ARTrails. Bird watch on Fiori Lane.
Peaceful and you can star gaze.
The little cabin is all yours. You may walk the garden and sit outside the cabin. There is a road to take a walk in the trees nearby. I can leave the key for you if your time is not certain.
Interaction with Guests
We really respect your privacy and may have little interaction with you, but we will be on the property and can get things you might need, or make suggestions for places to visit or eat.

Other Things to Note
The roads are narrow and winding and at night, animals, deer, foxes, raccoons, coyotes, etc. are out and about, it is very important to drive safely and carefully. We love the area with the creatures who've always lived here.
No pets. No smoking. No loud music. Respect our neighbors and our quiet countryside setting. Not suited for mobility impaired as there are steps up into the cabin and a claw foot tub/shower. Infant or toddler okay and we can provide a Pak N Play
