Our small family farm is conveniently located 10 minutes from Interstates 81/64 and historic Lexington, Virginia. The Tipi has amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and all the wonders our little farm and community has to offers. We are convenient to many local attractions like hiking, swimming, brewery and vineyard tours and yet secluded enough to heal your stress, enjoy time with your family or simply a special time away from the grind. Come stay with us! You deserve sincere hospitality!

The space
We offer a unique experience of staying in a Tipi for the ultimate in glamping! We have upgraded to a Sleep Number Bed for the ultimate in control and comfort. There is heat in the tipi! There is also an electric blanket for your comfort. There is a shower and bath house with all the comforts of home (completely enclosed for privacy and NOW it is even winterized to keep you warm while you take a hot shower and watch the moon rise over the mountains). We also have an echo dot! Use it for your favorite music or as an alarm clock! There is a keurig coffee machine with assorted teas and coffees, drinking water, and snacks in the Tipi. You can enjoy a fire in the fire pit (local laws apply) we do provide wood. There is a seating area under a cedar tree with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, a perfect place to share a bottle of local wine and relax from a busy day or to melt away stress. We are featured as Virginia’s best under $100.

Everyone is welcome here! All races, all political views and all religions. This is a place of love and support for all who need a safe place. This is a casual family farm you are welcome to interact with us, walk the fields and woods and explore the wilderness. We have a green house and garden you are welcome to tour. Or you can be secluded in your own little world.

Other things to note
There are all sort of things to do and see in and around Lexington and Rockbridge County and we would be happy to make recommendations. Some of the local sites include but are in no way limited to: Lime Kiln, Hulls Drive-In, Goshen Pass, VMI, Washington and Lee University, historic sites and trails. Book with us and discover all that we have to offer! We are also close to warm springs which are a natural warm springs bath house and the homestead which offers skiing and ice skating in Bath County, Wintergreen ski resort and Massanutten ski resort are only an hour away.
