Great location -- in the bustling Roppongi area, 5-7min walk from the subway and Grand Hyatt but surprisingly quiet in the room. The bed was comfortable and room was very clean. Also had wifi so I didn't watch the TV.
Minseo was very nice and understanding even though I was a little late getting to the apt (damn customs!). Also, I appreciate that there were plenty of towels, cleansers, and toothpaste!
I will definitely stay again next time I'm in Roppongi.
Minseo is a great host. This is a lovely apartment along a quiet lane which is just a short walking distance from the Roppongi metro station (Hibiya line). Everything is great about the apartment.. security is good and room is beautiful with all amenities working great. Would definitely consider staying here again when I visit Tokyo.
Minseo is such a good host. Despite her limited English, we communicated very well and I had every question answered. Delayed from the airport, she waited for over two hours in a snowstorm to greet me at the listing. Everything from the heated floors, toiletries, sunken tub, modern appliances, and decor, made for a delightful stay. I'd love to stay here, or any of her other listings, on my next trips to Japan.
The house is pretty warm, the traffic is very convenient, less than five minutes to go out there subway, the landlord is also very careful to answer all my questions and recommend my trip, so I'm under the condition of the language barrier is still very clear that all things, let me remember clearly that I really appreciate the beautiful landlord, go to tokyo next, I would choose to live in this house, thank you dear landlord.
I am an American and was traveling with one friend to Tokyo for only a few days. We wanted an affordable and central location from which to explore the city.
Minseo is wonderful! She greeted us at the apartment even though we had been 2 hours delayed and provided a very helpful tour of the space and many gadgets (heated floors, heater and a/c, fancy shower, fancy toilet, washer/dryer, and kitchen appliances). There were also very helpful instructions printed out in japanese and english on the living room table. She had maps of the city and a lonely planet travel guide for us as well. In addition, the fridge and freezer were stocked with local drinks and snacks - we were encouraged to help ourselves and did enjoy the teas and cookies.
The location is within easy walking of both an airport limousine shuttle (Grand Hyatt) and metro stop. You can also easily walk to the Roppingi shopping area and Mori Art Museum, which has the perfect viewing deck to see the expansive city. Within a few blocks are good Isakayu restaurants and the Grand Hyatt, which has fancy bars and helpful concierge staff.
I used Airbnb extensively during my two week trip in Japan, and Minseo proved to be the best host! I stayed in two of Minseo's listings in Tokyo. The apartment in Roppongi was my favorite for many reasons.
1. The location was perfect. It was a 5-minute walk from an airport limousine stop. The Roppongi subway station was only half a block away. Night-life included with tons of restaurants in the area. There was a 7-Eleven on the same block of the apartment building. (7-Eleven will be your best friend while traveling in Japan. You can't withdraw money in any ATM machines except in 7-Eleven and Citibank).
2. The apartment and building was very clean, modern and luxurious. The apartment had radiant floor heating which was a huge plus during the winter. Minseo provided plenty of towels and comfy bedding. The automated soaking tub was the best.
3. Minseo was a superb host. She immediately responded to any inquiries I had. Our flight to Narita was delayed a couple of hours and we didn't arrive central Tokyo till 9pm. Minseo was very accommodating with our late arrival and still met us outside the apartment building. She took the time to show us around the apartment and taught us how to use the appliances.
Excellent experience and highly recommended.
We are travelers with toddler. The apartment is suitable for kid.
Well equipment kitchen. Nice and clean bathroom.
Great location just 2min walk to subway.
Minseo is truly one of the best hosts in Singapore, with an amazing, modern and central apartment! Would highly recommend staying here.
Another great apartment and location. Closer into the heart of Roppongi but situated on a quiet side road.
Ultra modern building and really smart. Feels like a hotel environment in the lobby / public areas.
Apartment is wonderful – small, inevitably, but my family of four (inc: two teenage girls) coped perfectly for four days. Modern, efficient and with a wet room that doubles up as a drying room.
A great place to stay and Minseo is delightful!
It is very clean and secure apartment. The location is fantastic. Close to metro, shops and restaurants. I am Japanese but my husband is an Irish and this was his first visit to Japan. We were very happy staying in the apartment. He loved the Japanese bath. Very easy check out procedures was a plus too. Only suggestions : it would be a good idea to stock up kitchen with a bottle opener, cork screw or kitchen utensils
Rather than that, it was perfect.
Than you, Kim!!!
