Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Sarah and Allon's cottage. A serene little place close to all amenities and NYC. Would recommend to anyone after a private place to reside whilst taking in the true residential experience of Brooklyn.
Sarah and her husband were wonderful hosts and their place was just lovely! The little cottage was cozy and really well-designed - no wasted space, charming decor, and even stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, and other basics. It's a very quiet and peaceful place. Great place to stay! Thank you guys!
Sarah and Allon were fantastic hosts. I was staying on business and some tourist stuff too and it was a perfect base for both. Loved getting to know the local area. The flea market on a Saturday morning is great!
The bed was so comfy and the shower is great!
I'd come back here.
The listing was perfectly described. The private entrance led to a secluded backyard with Sarah's lovely plants and patio furniture, just right for your morning coffee and newspaper or an evening glass of wine. A quiet and charming country cottage in the midst of a vibrant urban neighborhood. Our hosts were near by, accessible and very welcoming. The binder they provided was informative and a great resource for dining, transportation and local attractions. Would definitely return to this delightful oasis.
Very nice welcome from Sarah's daughter as she told us she would be away for the weekend. We found the place very comfortable and perfect for our getaway to NYC.
Although we arrived quite late at night, Sarah's directions were easy to follow and we got settled easily. The cottage is such a sweet little place, quiet, well-located, and thoughtfully appointed. Sarah was very helpful with our questions, and it was just fun to be staying in their backyard.
About the Host, Sarah
We're a married couple who have called Fort Greene, Brooklyn, home for many years. I'm a food writer; we also own a small neighborhood cafe. We love getting to know new people and enjoy introducing visitors to New York, whether it's sharing a great place to grab a bite, take a stroll, or soak up some city culture.
