Magical flat with a very attractive design, it is located on the top floor (with lift) of a nineteenth-century building in San Lorenzo, the quartier latin of Rome.
Its central position, being very well connected with the most interesting and important sites of the city, make it ideal for a holiday even for a short period.
Provided with WiFi and the mod cons of a modern house, the flat comprises a kitchen, 1 bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, a study with a double sofa-bed and a magnificent terrace.
The district, besides its proximity to the historical center which is possible to reach by walking, bus and metro, offers, day and night, many entertainment choices with its various shops, art galleries, pizzerie, ethnic restaurants, café, and small supermarkets. The area, which is close to the first and oldest University of Rome, - the biggest in Europe - La Sapienza (founded in 1303), is frequented by young people.
The guest house allows a maximum of 4 persons .

Gabriella è stata molto accogliente e la descrizione dell'appartamento ha rispecchiato perfettamente la realtà.
It was very nice that Gabriella send us an email 2 weeks before our visit. She made us feel very welcome. When we arriverd before the set time, someone was already waiting for us. It was all very wel organized.
The apartment was clean and comfortable. It was big enough for 2 adults en 2 children (age 10 and 12). The neighbourhood was a bit noisy, but we had expected that.
The rooftop terrace was very nice.
It was our first time in Rome and we had a wondeful time! Gabriellas appartment was wonderful, clean and comfortable! Gabriella welcomed us warm-hearted and was very obliging. Thank you for everything Gabriella, we would come again=)

Gabriella was wonderful, she was waiting outside the apartment when we arrived and gave us great advice for touring the city. The apartment was exactly what we expected and very clean. Gabriella was also extremely flexible when some of our times/plans changed. Only issue was the wifi stopped working the last day and she tacked on an extra 20 Euro for a cleaning charge. But overall it was great.
We just came back from our 5-day trip to Rome. We've spent New Years Eve there and we apparently chose the coldest week ever.
So all the benefits of the apartment (the location, the roof top terrace, the design, the kitchen with coffee, tea and lots of utensils, ...) did not stand up to the big disadvantage... We were freezing! My husband had to block the windows with blankets to stop the cold cold wind.
Gabriella suggested to bring more blankets, but we feel that curtains, shutters or a fireplace is what this apartment needs.
We do understand the circumstances were exceptional for Rome.
Gabriella's loft is phenomenal. I really enjoyed my stay here. The highlights of this listing are:
* It is a 15 minute walk from Roma Termini and is in a pretty cool part of the city with beautiful graffiti (murals, really)
* The terrace is very spacious; however I did not get a chance to use it because I came in the winter.
* Complimentary water and croissants. Gabriella knew that I was leaving very early in the morning and supplied water bottles, croissants, and some tea and coffee for my liking. This was very thoughtful.
This place isn't for everyone. I'm relatively young (mid 20s), but I can imagine someone in their later years having difficulty maneuvering the stairs to the lofted bed. While it is certainty aesthetic, the stairs are cumbersome to get up and down late at night. Also, the loft is situated in a part of town that is noisy at night because of bars and their patrons. Lastly (this certainly only applies to winter travelers), the place gets cold! The windows aren't well insulated, and I felt a cold breeze every night that made me bundle up.
All in all, I absolutely love this place. However, note that certain demographics might night like it as much as I did.
I will certainly be returning!
This apartment has a lot of chatacter to it! We had a nice time staying there. Rome is beautiful.
I am very glad to work with people in holiday because meanwhile is amusing is also interisting. My experience in hosting started in toscany where my family has an hotel.
