Magical flat with a very attractive design, it is located on the top floor (with lift) of a nineteenth-century building in San Lorenzo, the quartier latin of Rome.
Its central position, being very well connected with the most interesting and important sites of the city, make it ideal for a holiday even for a short period.
Provided with WiFi and the mod cons of a modern house, the flat comprises a kitchen, 1 bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, a study with a double sofa-bed and a magnificent terrace.
The district, besides its proximity to the historical center which is possible to reach by walking, bus and metro, offers, day and night, many entertainment choices with its various shops, art galleries, pizzerie, ethnic restaurants, café, and small supermarkets. The area, which is close to the first and oldest University of Rome, - the biggest in Europe - La Sapienza (founded in 1303), is frequented by young people.
The guest house allows a maximum of 4 persons .
Prices vary depending on the season, the number of guests and the duration of the stay.
A lovely, quirky and colourful fourth floor apartment, which was well stocked with books, DVDs, cooking equipment and kitchen staples. The roof terrace was a lovely place to eat breakfast and the apartment is well situated; only 15 mins to Termini and ~20 to the Colosseum. The nights were pretty noisy, although this wasn’t too surprising as San Lorenzo is quite a studenty area. All in all we had a nice stay. Thanks!
Gabriella's apartment is well located, easy to walk or take the metro everywhere. There are restaurants, cafe's and groceries close by.(Panella was my favourite) Vibrant neighbourhood, not for those who sleep at 10pm. Gabriella responded to my questions and needs quickly.
A beautiful and conveniently located flat. well heated in the winter and the bed was comfortable. Gabriella made everything easy and left the house fully equipped for our 7 night stay. The neighborhood can get noisy at night but the double wndows let you sleep sound. And that's why you choose San Lorenzo anyway.
We had a very pleasant stay in Gabriella 's place; clean, comfortable, large, nice located stylish flat !!!
Easy going and very nice person, Gabriella provided us all information we needed about the facilities, restaurants in the neighbourhood, public transport, etc.
The flat has a fantastic terrace but as we had rainy days during our stay, unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it a lot :-(
If you are looking for a comfortable stay in Rome, do not hesitate to book Gabriella's place ...
PS: Bizde sizinle tanistigimiza cok memnun olduk :-) Hersey icin cok tesekkurler
Our second time in Rome and our first time as a guests on airbnb was for both me and my 15 years old daughter, a real success thanks to Gabriella and her lovely apartment. Very well situated, only a few blocks away from Termini the train station. We walked to every single point of interest. Gabriella has wonderful taste and a visible passion for (website hidden) the evening we loved coming back to the apartment after a very long walk and dinner at La Mucca Bischera (a must do, just around the corner), just to enjoy the painting albums or lay on the couch and watch one of the collection movies that she thoughtfully left for the guests. The only minus is that time went by too quickly and we had to leave so soon. We need to go back just to enjoy the beautiful terrace some more! Thank you Gabriella and see you very soon, I hope. What an adorable little place Gabriella has! We loved staying here and it's in a really cool part of the city...slightly off the beaten path and away from the craziness of central Rome. However, not too far. We were able to walk to the center and it only took us about 30 mins. Super close to the train station too which is nice. Gabriella greeted us in the rain when we got there and showed us around the apartment before leaving us be. It was a really great experience to be able to experience that side of Rome.
The appartment is wonderful. Gabriella is so kind and gives many precious advice about the things to do in Rome.
You can easily walk from the appartment to the all the amazing monuments, or take the bus.
I hope someday we'll come back to Rome and if so, we'll choose Gabriella'a appartment once again !
It was my 4th stay in the beautiful city of rome, this was among the best apartment. The location is great. No tourists, a lot of great restaurants and bars and authentic audience and yet not far away from all the sights by bus or on foot (25min Colloseum). The apartment is very nicely decorated, nothing is missing. The roof terrace is really great for a morning coffee or an aperitif in the evening. Beautifully. The next time Rome? In this apartment!. Thanks to Gabriella.
