it is a delightful apartment just off the main road in Arpora. Barely a five minute walk away from Tito's lane (ten, if you're in heels - we tested it out!), it's perfect for people who would like to party, enjoy the beach and not have to worry about parking, traffic jams and late night drive backs.
About the property
Our two rooms are warm, cosy and completely self sufficient with air conditioning, 24 hr power backup, lift, a glorious little pool- all in the confines of a chic gated community of fellow travelers. The apartment has one bathroom that has solar water heaters and a video security system. Set amidst a small village community and surrounded by large trees, Lovenest has two large balconies for you to sit and soak in the beautiful greenery all around.
Attractions and distance
Since the main Baga street is buzzing away barely five minutes away there are tons of great places to eat, drink and make merry! Most travelers prefer to rent bikes here and there are plenty of places around that offer taxi services also. The famous Saturday Night markets of Goa are a mere 15 minute ride away.
Location – neighborhood description
At Lovenest we make up for the fact that there is no room service by the fact that we are so close to so many great restaurants that do take aways and home delivery service. So enjoy your stay with the true flavors of Goa!

The room was as comfortable and beautiful as it has been mentioned by Amina. It is located near Baga which is a hub for a variety of fun activities. The caretaker, Prabal was also very helpful in keeping the room clean and providing necessities such as milk powder, tea bags, fresh towels and bed sheets. Looking forward to visiting this place again and I would definitely recommend staying here to my other friends.
This was my second stay at Amina's apartment and I would say that everything was exactly the same and perfect.
The caretaker, Prabal is very helpful and took care of everything.
I would suggest this apartment for anyone visiting Goa.
Thank you for a comfortable stay. The house was exactly like the description - close to market and beach. Its sparingly furnished which worked well for us. More space to spread.
Few things i would mention though. Please provide basic amenities in bathroom. There was no toilet paper, hand-wash bottle was empty. The bedsheet for daybed was badly stained - we refused to use it! The beanbags had no air, its practically like sitting on floor. You have provided for a kettle, but there is no power plug to plug in the kettle.
The care-taker is very nice and attentive. He looked after all our requirements and requests.
Thank you for choosing to stay with us. I have noted your suggestions for the bathroom however I do remember telling you specifically two days before you arrived that you would need to carry your own toiletries as the apartment is not really a hotel, its pretty basic comfortable living and travellers bring with them whatever they require on a daily basis to use.
As for the sheets, when I read your review I must admit it did upset me because of two reasons, firstly that you never mentioned anything about it while you here and secondly neither did my caretaker. So when I called him to inquire into the incident he says that sheet was in the cupboard at the end of the pile that had 3 sets of sheets (two single sheets and one double bedsheet) and its the one that we no longer use. You took it out of the cupboard and said you were not going to use it. Let me just clarify that it was not meant to be used, he never gave it to you to use it in the first place. Since I pay quite a packet for laundry after each checkout I was aghast that you found a stained sheet, unfortunately it was a misunderstanding that was resolved and didnt need to be written about.
The beanbags have beans in them not air, you are supposed to shake them around and then sit on them - just saying...
The Electric Kettle with no plug point seems like a crazy thing to have... perhaps you should have looked a little closely at the wall behind the kettle you would have found the plug. Seriously how absurd can it be to have a kettle and nowhere to plug it in?
My sincere advice to you next time would be to talk to the owners if there is anything bothering you. It seems quite strange when nothing is mentioned during the entire stay and then you are left wondering what the hell happened to the plug point in the kitchen...
We had a very comfortable stay with no issues at all. The host ensured that we are attended to promptly and pro-actively. Would like to recommend to all travellers coming to Goa and looking out to stay near the beach.
Our stay at Eleganza was amazing, relaxing, comforting.... !! The apartment was well maintained & presentable. The resort is close to Baga Beach yet far away from hustle bustle of the crowd. You can literary hear birds chirping in the morning & evening !! The location is serene..... & beautiful..!
The best part was the pool & balcony!! Last but not the least special thanks to care taker (Prabal). He was very hospitable.
Only one suggestion--- We were all girls staying in the apartment..it would have been good to have a dressing mirror, since there is only 1 small mirror in the washroom ;) :P
Thanks Amina!!!! :)
Our stay at Eleganza was amazing, the apartment was perfect for the 3 of us, nice and clean and presentable and very close to the main shopping area, clubs and bars. I would definitely stay here again and recommend anyone to stay with Amina
Amina's apartment proved to be great for my parents. It was close to the hustle and hustle of baga area and very comfortable. It had a wonderful pool and lot of greenery around. The care taker was also very helpful and attentive. Amina herself was wonderful as she helped me plan the trip for my parents and gave us some incredible info to enjoy Goa . Overall a great experience and an easy recommend for anybody wanting to stay in the vicinity of baga.

About the Host, Amina
An easy going person I have just one weakness and that is food! Good food makes me go weak in the knees and trying to get it off my hips is certainly not doing anything good for my knees either!!! I've been living in Goa for the past 11 years and have an on again off again relationship with the place... the easy Goa- way -of -life has rubbed off on me and my family and if we had any drive or ambition it got washed away at the beach this weekend when we were soaking it up beneath the palm trees...sigh... anyways, I consider myself sort of a tourist's best friend as far as Goa is considered since I have literally 'been there done that'...well not THAT that..but close!! I am a writer and head the content team for one of Goa's leading destination magazines - Planet Goa, which sort of makes me an expert on where to eat, where to spa, where to shop and where not! So if you meet me here then do expect unsolicited advice on everything from forts to forests, from horse farms to club cubana! I love going out and meeting new people so if you're in town give me a shout out and chances are we'll be having a drink while the surf's still up in Palolem! See ya... Sussegado!
