About This Listing
This is an splendid and beautiful newly refurbished apartment in Elephant&Castle so in Zone 1.
The kitchen and toilet are completely new!!
The apartment is very modern but at the same time you will feel like at home as it's very cosy as well. It has 2 very comfortable bedrooms and a living room and is located in a close, a very residential area of E&C and at the same time with a Pub a shopping centre and a wide selection of restaurants and coffee shops in a doorstep.
The E&C tube stations is just 1 block away and the there are a wide options of buses.
From here you can reach easily Big Ben and all London main attractions in just 12 minutes!!
This place is a unique opportunity to have the tranquillity to feel at home and at the same time to be in the centre of London! in Zone 1 so having all attractions in a few steps.
I can host nicely 6 people. 8 people will be a bit crowded but I have already host 8 people groups!
Other Things to Note
Parking is available on request. It's possible to park very close to the apartment.
I only ask for a small contribution of £5 per day towards the parking fee that I need to pay for your Zone E parking vouchers during your stay. This is a bargain because if you pay at the meter it would cost you almost £40 per day!!
In order to avoid fines/tickets you must park in Zone E. I would NOT be responsible for your car neither for any fine that your receive as a result of you parking in wrong places like: a state parking space, only loading, disable, etc.
What I provide are visitors parking voucher for the Zone where I park as well "Zone E" so I recommend you to ask me where exactly you are allowed to park if you are not sure.
SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE APARTMENT NOR THROUGH THE WINDOWS. IF YOU NEED TO IT HAS TO BE IN THE GARDEN.
The apartment was a short walk from the train station, Mary had sent us very detail directions on how to get to the apartment via various modes of transport. It was well furnished and had basic essential supplies in the pantry. At night, the apartment was really warm to sleep in but Mary had organised portable fans for us to use.
Very nice appartment, clean, very close to the center and the main attractions by the subway (2 lines). Mary was very helpful: her explanations to find the place were useful, she also allowed us to leave our luggages early at the day of the arrival and in the afternoon the last day. The appartment was perfect for us (6 persons), 2 rooms and 2 individual beds in the living room.
The apartment has an excellent locations and allows you quick access to all the sights of London. You are at the underground station within 5 minutes of walking. The apartment itself was clean and quiet, the perfect place to rest after a day of sightseeing.
we really liked the place and the neighbourhood. with the directions mary gave us, we had no problems to find the flat at once. everything was as described in the advertisement on airbnb and we especially liked the garden. the place is in a safe neighbourhood and close to bus and tube station. we had a great time during our stay and would definitely book this lovely flat again.
First of all I must say arrival directions weren't so simple for somebody like me who never been to London before.
Took e quiet a while to get to the place so you might wanna make a research of the public transport yourself before you go.
Checking in wasn't too hard although we had to find the key so there was nobody there to receive us.
The location isn't the best if you don't know London, and the neighborhood by itself.
If you're there on business that's not the apartment for you since the wifi is by far one of the worst I've ever used.
Overall, not too bad, but I definitely been to much much better places.
