- Rest in the California king bed in the bedroom, or cuddle up in the reading nook with your favorite book
- Relax and reset in the high-ceiling bathroom which features a rain shower and stand-alone tub
- Stretch out by the Morso Wood-Burning Fireplace as the sun sets
- Binge your favorite show on the 80' smart TV
- Chef it up in the well-stocked kitchen with high-end appliances

RULES & SAFETY OVERVIEW

- Quiet Hours: 10pm - 6am
- Restrictions: No fireworks; no shoes inside; no smoking inside or within 25 feet of the home; secure trash due to wildlife
- Smoke & CO alarms, fire extinguisher, first aid kit

NEIGHBORHOOD & VEHICLE NOTICE

Don't expect a mountain escape without some mountain roads! The last mile of the drive is hilly & gravel; four-wheel drive (4WD) is mandatory for guests during the winter months (Nov-March). Please take this seriously. If snow is in the forecast during your stay, we highly recommend snow chains for your tires as well.

Although any vehicle would be fine during dry conditions, we encourage 4WD or AWD all the time.

Parking can easily accommodate 2-3 cars.

CELL SERVICE & WIFI NOTICE

The Gramophone is in a remote, rural neighborhood with no cell service (most carriers lose service on the last 5 minutes of the drive, near the entrance to the community). The Gramophone is powered by Starlink wifi; it may be intermittent but is generally fast & strong. (I work in tech and haven't had any issues staying here for weeks at a time.)

TRASH & CLEANLINESS NOTICE

Keep all trash inside the cabin or secured in the garbage can outside (shut tight) to avoid unexpected encounters with wild animals, like bears, foxes, raccoons, etc.

Please help maintain a clean environment by removing shoes upon entering the cabin.

WEATHER NOTICE

There is a possibility of storms or power outages. Check the weather before you go so that if you do get snowed in, you are covered with the necessities. We do not offer weather-related refunds outside of our cancellation policy, so you may wish to purchase trip cancellation insurance for your travels in case you do need to cancel.

CHILDREN NOTICE

The cabin is child-friendly, but not childproofed. Please watch your kids!

BUG NOTICE

Being in the woods means there is a chance for bugs in and outside the property. We maintain proper pest control and routinely treat the area around the house to reduce the chance of guests meeting unwelcome guests.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY FOR USE OF HOT TUB

The guests agree to use extreme caution and care in the hot tub on the premises and to pay any and all repair charges for damage to the hot tub and/or property caused by the guests.

Guests further agree that everyone using a hot tub will shower and clean feet upon the use of the hot tub.

Furthermore, the agreement is made that NO oils, bubble bath, soaps, other liquids, or any other harmful materials will be used in the hot tub.

No glass products whatsoever are allowed in or around the hot tub. If any items such as soaps, bath products, food, alcohol, etc. are found in the tub, the guest will be charged a cleaning fee of $200.

Damage to a hot tub cover will result in a $400 charge. The cover should remain on the hot tub at all times when not in use. Guests agree that there will be no horseplay in the hot tub as well as not to sit on, jump on, or misuse the hot tub cover in any manner.

Guests acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in the use of the hot tub. Guests voluntarily assume the risk of injury, accident, death, personal injury, or property damage that may arise from the use of the hot tub. By using the hot tub guests agree to follow all house rules associated with it and release the host/property owner from any and all claims, liability, or losses whatsoever arising out of or in any way associated with the guests' use of the hot tub, including but not limited to death, personal injury, or property damage, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.
