Public transportation is available at the beginning of my street. Approximately an 8 or 9 minute walk-

Nancy is an excellent host. Communication throughout the process was fast and easy. She was very accommodating in regards to an early check in time and a late arrival. I was on the island for a wedding so I could only stay one night but I would have loved to make a longer stay out of it.
Nancy's home is beautiful and full of art and culture. She took great pride in telling me how it was built with mostly reclamation materials, which is certainly something to be proud of. The bedroom provided a wicked comfortable bed and an area to read and hang out. The grounds provided plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors and my only regret was that I didn't have time to lay on the hammock and dream of moving to MV.
When I arrived, Nancy was there to greet me, show me around and to give me all the info I could have needed. This was my first stay with ABnB so she definitely set my expectations high for future visits to other ABnBs.
I would recommend 80 Merry Farm Rd. to anyone and everyone. Thanks Nancy!
The room was very big and comfortable, and the house was a charming old New England home in a very secluded wooded area. Very comfortable bed. Nancy & her family were great hosts, and they had plenty of information about the island. Unfortunately I was only there for one night to attend a wedding, so I didn't get to enjoy all it had to offer. Hopefully I'll be back again sometime.
Nancy was a great host! Let us use her beach chairs/towels and gave us helpful local info.
We enjoyed the woodsy atmosphere of her home, the hammock and laid-back vibe all around.
Our host greeted us on our arrival, showed us around the premises and provided whatever local information we specifically requested. The house is very old and shows little signs of any updating. The house is located on a dirt road, in a forested area some distance from any neighbourhood.
The room was quite small and cluttered.
Tony- I'm sorry if you feel I didn't provide enough "local information." I respect a guest's privacy since many people want to explore the Island on their own but I'm always happy to provide information if asked- Actually, my home was built 20 years ago and everything in the home has been reused or recycled (hence it has a vintage look). My guests (and friends) seem to enjoy that the home is unique. I'm on a dirt road as many homes on the Vineyard are.. Also, this is a neighborhood but most people who live here prefer their home not to be seen from the road. The room really couldn't be considered "small" as it measures 9' x 22'. You thought the room was "cluttered" I have magazines, brochures and pamphlets pertaining to the Island along with a few "finds" and artifacts. Generally, my guests enjoy the way the room is decorated,I'm sorry you did not enjoy your experience. Sincerely, Nancy
We had a lovely stay at Nancy's. Her home is beautiful, and only a short bus journey from the main attractions in vineyard haven.
Nancy made us feel very welcome, the room was spacious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Nancy is a great host, she provided us breakfast and made us feel completely at home! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Wonderful stay. Nancy is amazing. everything was perfect. Highly recommended.
Nancy and her daughter made us feel right at home. They are so sweet and friendly! They gave us nice tips and information about where to go, what to eat, and what to see. We rented a moped and using the gps took us a while to get there from Oak Bluffs but then Nancy told us about the easier way to get to and from the main cities. It was so much easier! I am very thankful for that as well as breakfast. The house has a lot of beautiful artwork to look at too!
