We have a beautiful apartment with a private entrance.
There is a kitchenette/living room with a pull out sofa, bedroom with a queen size bed, a full bath and a covered deck to sit outside . If needed, we have A/C, but we prefer not to use it . We love having the windows open, with the overhead fans running, so you can hear the birds singing in the morning.
We are on a beautiful road that goes around the 2nd largest lake on Long Island. Around the block is Elliston Park, a beautiful park with a lovely beach, my Daughter was married there. Elliston Park is a nice walk (1 mile) you need a permitt to park there and you have to be a resident. If we are home, we can drop you off. Along the way to Elliston Park is 2 beautiful Nature Preserves.
We are also 5-10 minuets away, by car, to the heart of Southampton Village, Restaurants, Golfing and the Atlantic Ocean Beaches.
The Hampton Jitney and Train Station are 10 minuets away, there is Taxi service. Car rentals nearby, as well as bike rentals.
My husband John and I are just a phone call away or knock on the door if you need anything.
Guests will have access to parking in driveway. Also, we have a beautiful front porch with a table and chairs.
You MUST be over 21 to rent the apartment!!!
Apartment is for 2 Guests. After that it is $50.00 per Guest, per night.
We love babies but Children must be 10 years old or older and considered a Guest
Susan was a great host! She was very accomodating for us. The buliding is attached to her primary residence so they were able to help us with anything we needed right away if we needed. They left some water and orange juice in the fridge.
Susan and John were awesome. It was a great place to relax. Would love to stay again. Thanks to you both, Dave
We had a wonderful week at "A Little Bit of Paradise!" Susan and John were very accommodating hosts, making sure we were enjoying our stay and handling any tweaks to improve our comfort along the away.
The accommodations are exactly what we had hoped for -- a small apartment with a separate entrance in a beautiful, bucolic setting. I must commend our hosts for the wonderful gardening they've done -- pulling up to a residence with gorgeous flowers is a great way to start a vacation.
We definitely liked our kitchen and the ample storage for our clothes for the week in the bedroom. And a nice, large bathroom, to boot!
Access to the pond was about a mile away, so we ended up focusing on the gorgeous beaches and town-hopping as our main activities during the day.
The drive to Southampton proper took only 7 minutes, and the apartment was an ideal jumping-off point for visits to golf in Riverhead, the beaches, East Hampton, Montauk and the North Fork. A car is certainly recommended, as it will provide you with the best ability to roam the East End.
All in all, this was a great spot for a Hamptons getaway at a very fair price for the environs. Perfect for a couple!
My husband and I had a delightful experience and stay at A Little Bit of Paradise. The living area was spacious and clean. The location was beautiful. It was close to both Downtown Southampton and Sag Harbor. We were also close to many different restaurants. We loved it all!! Susan was a wonderful host and was available to our needs. Thank you Susan!
Had a great birthday weekend at Susan and John's. They were great hosts, very accommodating, flexible, and pleasant! Whatever questions we had they were willing to help. They even drove us into town and to coopers beach so we could get situated with the area. The apartment is cute and clean. For my group, it was big enough for four friends: pull out couch, big bathroom and big bedroom with full bed. The apartment was very close to town, coopers beach, and a close walk or drive to the lake. We drove and parked in the parking area in front of the entrance to the lake. The walk is a bit over a mile and the town-like streets merge into streets that look more like a highway. But the lake is beautiful and awesome to swim in. I definitely will be back! Thank you Susan and John!
Wonderful ultra clean apartment with private entrance attached to a single house. Charming decor. Our gracious hosts made us feel welcome. And I even had access to a 120v outlet to charge my electric car. I was happy.
I have lived on beautiful Long Island my whole life.
I am a Recreational Therapist in a Nursing home here in the Hamptons, I LOVE my job. And for the last 13 years, I have been teaching Quilting and Painting to a great group of ladies.
I love to travel, especially to Norway, to see my 94 year old Great Aunt and family.
I love NYC and Broadway shows. But there is nothing more beautiful then watching the Sunrise and Sunsets, with my husband John, here in the Hamptons. I do not want to live anywhere else!!
