About this place

The accommodation is located in the historic center of Corniglia, a short walk from the trails to Vernazza and Manarola, and from restaurants, bars, and ice cream parlors. In about 5/10 minutes you can reach the sea. Outside the building, there is a small garden shared with two other rooms, perfect for reading and enjoying a wonderful sea view. It's very easy to start routes to the other villages of the Cinque Terre, making the location ideal for exploring the area.

The space
The accommodation is ideal for short stays, perfect for those who love exploring the trails leading to Vernazza and Manarola, or for those who want to spend a few days by the sea.Located in the quiet Via Serra neighborhood, it offers a beautiful view and is close to the magnificent Church of St. Peter.

Breakfast is included in the price and is served at the "PAN E VIN" bar, run by Cristiana and her husband Stefano, who is also a point of reference for information. The bar also offers free wireless internet.

Corniglia is connected to the train station by a bus operating from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, extended until 9:30 pm from April to the end of October.Although there is no boat service, it is easily accessible on foot or by shuttle bus.

Restaurants, bars and grocery stores are nearby. There is no private parking available, but it is easy to find free or paid parking just a 5-minute walk away.

Guest access
The easiest way to explore the Cinque Terre is by train, which connects the five villages in just 3-5 minutes. However, we recommend exploring the trails on foot to admire the beauty of the Cinque Terre National Park, with its dry stone walls, centuries-old stairways, and breathtaking views.

For those arriving by train, from Corniglia train station you can walk for about 10-15 minutes or take the shuttle bus, available until 7:30 PM.The "Cinque Terre Multiservice Card" is a convenient option that includes train tickets, shuttle buses, and access to the trails. It can be purchased at the INFO 5 TERRE POINT in La Spezia or Levanto, or at the train stations in the five towns.

If you're arriving by car, we recommend exiting the motorway at La Spezia and following the signs for Cinque Terre/Corniglia.Free parking is marked with white lines, while paid parking is marked with blue lines and costs €15.00 per day.The closest and most convenient parking is located before the town, near the green area, from which a short, stair-free pedestrian path leads directly to your room.

Guests will have access to the room with private bathroom and the shared garden, which offers a splendid sea view.Upon your arrival, you will be provided with information and suggestions on what to see and do, and you will be required to pay a tourist tax of €2.00 per person per night. For check-in after 7:30 PM, please let us know in advance to arrange a meeting.

Wireless internet is available in Cristiana's room, with the password: corniglia. It is recommended that you send a text message the day before your arrival with your approximate arrival time.

During your stay
Guests can meet me, Cristiana, or my husband Stefano at the "pan e vin" bar at Via Fieschi 123, located a few steps from the room. The bar is generally open from 7am to 8pm, but may be closed during the winter months.During these periods, breakfast will still be included and served at the "Matteo" or "Nunzio" bars.Upon check-in, you can reach the accommodation independently via self check-in.If guests encounter any difficulties, they can go to the bar for assistance, but please be patient as we may be busy with other guests, with a wait of approximately 10-15 minutes.

Our accommodation is located close to our home, allowing easy access for any type of assistance.Guests can contact us at any time and use the garden adjacent to the house, which offers a beautiful view.We are available from 8am to 8pm to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Other things to note
The Cinque Terre are villages characterized by numerous steps and narrow spaces, making travel quite challenging. We recommend wearing or bringing comfortable shoes, preferably trekking shoes or shoes with non-slip soles, and shoes suitable for walking on the rocks by the sea. It's advisable to travel with small, lightweight luggage.

From the train station to the town center, you can walk for about 10-15 minutes or use the shuttle bus.Bus tickets can be purchased at the information office inside the train station for €1.50 or directly on the bus for €2.50.If you have the Cinque Terre card, bus service is already included.

For stays longer than three nights, a laundry service is available upon request at a cost of €15.00.The request for this service must be made by the end of the morning of the second day of your stay.

Neighborhood highlights

The view from the room is truly wonderful, very sunny and peaceful. From the end of September, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The 'marina' is about a 10-minute walk from the room. The 'marina' is a beautiful inlet, only rocks. In the 'marina,' you can swim and snorkel. You can start walking towards Vernazza directly from the room (blue trail marked as SVA). Directly from the room, you can start walking towards Manarola via Volastra (trail 587/586). The trail is challenging but beautiful, and the view is wonderful. The trail crosses the 'costa da posa' with beautiful terraces. The trail crosses immediately after the village of Volastra with its olive groves. Coming down from Volastra, you can reach the 'Cooperativa Agricoltura 5 Terre'. The 'Cooperativa Agricoltura 5 Terre' is a short walk from 'Il Groppo', a small village.

I’m happy to spend time with my guests or give them space
Hi, my name is Cristiana Ricci, I was born and raised in Corniglia, in the heart of the Cinque Terre, where I still live and work. With the help of my family, I also manage the very small bar "pan e vin", which is always located in the center of Corniglia that serves, among other things, as a meeting point between me and my guests. I'm happy to meet and host people from around the world, and make them part of the life of my beautiful country.
