Hello and thank you for stopping at my page! My name is Julie and this listing is for my two bedroom apartment nestled in the heart of the East Village. You will be located on a tree lined street, blocks away from the Farmer’s Market and Tompkin Square Park where you can enjoy the quirky life of the neighborhood while relaxing on a bench. You will be within a 5 minutes’ walk to the N/R and F trains that will take you anywhere in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens in no time. You will also be walking distance to Soho, the Lower East Side, Union Square and the West Village. My neighborhood is vibrant with artsy people, families, cool restaurants, bars, unique stores and let’s not forget Wholefoods! You'll find this peaceful apartment to be beautiful inside and out - a wonderful place to spend a day relaxing and enjoying the city life.
My place is VERY clean and features brick walls, a marble bathroom, stainless steel appliances (including a microwave), washer/dryer (yes! a rare object in a NYC apartment!). Each bedroom has a queen size bed and plenty of closet space.
I'd love to give you tips on places to eat and help you make the most out of your stay as a real New Yorker :)

Great apartment for the four of us in a vibrant, trendy area. Close enough to the subway system to access all of the city. We never met Julie but she responded quickly to all our emails and Fedexed the keys and instructions to us in plenty of time. The bedrooms were a good size and the back bedroom was amazingly quiet with a leafy view - there was more street noise in the front bedroom. The wifi worked well and there was good air-conditioning. The washing machine and dryer were an important bonus and the kitchen was well appointed and included a coffee machine and dishwasher. There is a Rite Way convenience store/pharmacy across the road, dry cleaners next door and even a police station in the street. It is also a short walk to Russ & Daughters and Katz delis - yum yum! We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone planning a visit to New York.
We stayed in Julies Appartement for a week with four persons (three grown-up sisters with mom). The check-in was absolutely easy. The rooms are as shown on the pictures, also in the kitchen we found everything we needed. The beds were perfect, too. We enjoyed the neighbourhood and felt safe all day and night. We followed Julies great advice to shop at Whole Food on Houston Street. We also left our baggage in the cleanery in the street the last day, which was very uncomplicated as well. Once we had a question Julie answered it immediately. All in all we are very happy we stayed in Julies appartement and had a wonderful stay in NYC. Thank you!
Julie's place was wonderful! Super clean, and spacious even for the four of us. The beds were extremely comfortable. The area the apartment is great! It's full of restaurants and bars, but the apartment itself is on a quiet street. We loved staying here, it's the perfect place to get a feel of what it like to live in the city. I would definitely be excited to stay again!
Julie was friendly and easy to communicate with from our time of booking right through our stay, even though we never met her. The 'check-in' process was super easy. The apartment was cute and clean; lots of space for the three of us who were staying there. Having WiFi access in the apartment was perfect for us. It was in a very vibrant part of town and was very convenient with subway stations close by. At night you could hear street noise from one of the bedrooms, but not more than you would expect being in NYC. We would definitely stay here again if we were coming back to the east village.
You cannot ask for more! Julie's apartment offered everything we needed and then some. And the location could no be beat! I can't imagine more food and drink options being within walking distance. The beds were incredibly comfortable and there's plenty of space. We will definitely be back and plan to tell everyone we know about this gem. Thanks for everything, Julie!
I spent 9 nights in this apartment with my two teenagers and the stay was really nice. As I prefer this neighborhood than the overpacked and only-for-tourist midtown/times square area, the apartment was just what I expected towards location and leisure options. Nice restaurants around and Houston street few blocks away (loved the Risotto Melotti at 5th and Ballaro at 2nd Av.). The apartment was very clean and nicely equipped. Two excellent bedrooms with very comfortable beds and mattresses. Julie was very responsive and provided all the information we needed. I would definitely stay there again, and look forward to returning. Thanks, Julie.
Our time at Julie's place was perfect!!! My husband and I and another couple found the apartment to be very clean, well decorated, and in a great location. The apartment is on the third floor, but the stairs weren't a problem for us. Each bedroom was on opposite sides of the apartment so that was especially perfect for two couples. The apartment is within a few blocks of several subway stations and there are dozens of restaurants in the neighborhood. Julie made it extremely easy to stay there by mailing us our keys beforehand- which was especially convenient for our late night arrival. The cab ride from JFK was $60 w/tip and we used the Subway to get back to JFK- which was actually pretty easy and convenient. We highly recommend Julie's place to anyone looking to stay here!
We stayed in Julie's apartment in the East Village with our three children for four nights in April. Our experience dealing with Julie was extremely positive and she answered all our queries really quickly and gave us loads of information about the area. Check in/out is really seemless as Julie sent keys by fedex two weeks in advance. The apartment is exactly as described/photographed (really lovely) and was very clean and a hugh bonus when traveling with kids was a washer/dryer in the unit. The area is great with loads of restaurants and a WholeFoods supermarket just a few blocks away. We loved our stay in the East Village and would highly recommend Julie as a host and her beautiful apartment.
Nice apartment in the best place to live in NY: full of great restaurants and bars and not far from several subway stations.
We enjoyed our stay at Julie's apartement, that is really well equipped, with two comfortable bedrooms.
To communicate with Julie was a real pleasure.
Thank you Julie!
