A cute, totally private 1 bedroom apartment with 3 beds and FREE parking! A double bed in the bedroom; a double bed in the living room; and a comfy double futon in the living room as well. It also has a small but very well-equipped kitchen. WiFi & AC. Located on the second floor of a small house over a garden courtyard on a quiet street by Kensington Market.

You CANNOT have parties here, and inviting outside guests to the house is NOT allowed.

The space

This apartment is located on the second floor of small 19th century house that was once the servant's quarters for the mansion next door. It's maintained in an immaculate and tidy condition.

There can be as many as three beds, if you need that. The main bed is a double bed in the bedroom, and there is also a fold-out sofa bed in the living room. We can add a comfy double futon on the living room floor if guests request them.

All household items are here, including freshly laundered linen, duvet, pillows and towels, Wifi, iron and hair dryer. In winter it's toasty warm with easily controllable heating, and in summer there is air conditioning. There is also a coin laundry room in the next building - let me know if you need it and I can instruct you on how to access it.

There's a small bright and clean bathroom, with a shower that provides endless hot water. It should be noted that the bathroom is pretty small by North American standards, and might be a little difficult for accessibility-challenged people.

There is a fully-equipped kitchen with all condiments, lots of cookware, a fridge, a four-burner stove and oven, electric kettle, microwave, blender, toaster, and toaster oven.

It's located on the second floor up some fairly narrow stairs, so be aware for accessibility issues.

Parties and inviting outside guests to the house is NOT allowed.

Guest access

This place is yours, and yours alone. There is a separate entrance from the garden courtyard. You will have your own set of keys so you can come and go as you like. The keys will let you into the laundry room of the next building, which is located a few metres away.

There is a free parking spot right next to the house. Let me know if you'd like to use it.

Interaction with guests

As your host, I'm available 24/7 by phone, text or email. I encourage guests to get in touch with me without hesitation if they have any questions about the house, or simply queries about the city.

Other things to note

There is **NO SMOKING** inside the apartment.

You can smoke outside on the balcony.

You CANNOT have parties here, and inviting outside guests to the house is NOT allowed.

Cozy little apartment, perfectly located in downtown Toronto within easy walking distance of the University, the Royal Ontario Museum, etc. It's small, but worked just fine for the two of us. Brahm is a courteous, responsive host. Recommended!

We always come to Toronto for Nuit Blanche and are so happy we found Brahm's apartment this year. It had the best location! It's literally two blocks from Kensington market and has a bar right down the street, too. Brahm was very helpful and accommodating and he made us feel very welcomed. The apartment itself was tricky to find, as it's not located exactly on the street that Airbnb gives you when it's check-in time. But Brahm sent perfect directions and we didnt get lost on our way there. As some others said, the bathroom is extremely small, but it didn't matter to us. We've stayed in places in Tokyo without showers or baths at all, so it was fine for us. :-) I highly recommend Brahm's place to fellow travelers and hope to one day stay there again.

Brahm's place is perfectly located. As a host he was incredibly kind and communicative. The apartment was very cozy for three people, but the location, price, and host can't be beat!

Unique apartment in a great location. The biggest perks were: free parking & wifi; central location within walking distance to Chinatown, Kensington Market, Queen Street; two minutes from the next bike rental station which was a great (and cheap) way to get around. Neighborhood felt safe & quiet, despite being right off Spadina. Brahm's directions made it very easy to find. If you are looking for a spacious bathroom or privacy from your co-travellers, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a cozy place to rest your head at night after exploring the city, Brahm's place is perfect for that. I would say three people is a little cramped but for our party of two it was ideal.

Great stay! Clear instructions. Downstairs neighbors were a bit noisy all night, but I messaged Brahm and he spoke with them the next morning and we had no further issues with them. Would definitely stay again next time in Toronto!

Response from Brahm:
Thanks for the positive review, Joseph. Yes, I've spoken with the neighbors, and there should be no further noise from them in the future.

Brahm was a great host for our stay in Toronto! I was traveling with a friend for a conference being held at the University of Toronto, and the location was absolutely perfect. It was in a very cute neighborhood, was within a convenient to walk to campus, and also walkable to many fun locations in the city. Brahm was extremely responsive before and during our stay. He provided helpful recommendations for travel from the airport and was even willing to be flexible about check-in time. The apartment was set up so that it could easily fit two people comfortably in separate rooms. The apartment bathroom was a bit smaller than we expected, especially the shower, where there was only room to basically stand up and turn around. But that is a very minor issue for an overall very great stay!

Brahm's place is in the ideal neighborhood for a trip to Toronto. Kensington Market is centrally located to other tourist destinations and fun to explore in itself. Brahm was wonderfully communicative. We had plenty of room. Would stay again.
