Come visit the small river town of Clayton! Enjoy the stunning views of the Mississippi River where you will see boat traffic and barges running daily throughout the summer. There are two great restaurants in town open Thursday through Sunday that serve fish, shrimp, steak, burgers, and more. There is a local park just around the corner, and also docks available for fishing. Northeast Iowa has plenty to offer during your stay such as hiking, fishing, shopping, food, wineries, and more.

The space
This property is a two bedroom, two bathroom upstairs apartment. Enjoy the gorgeous views of the Mississippi while sitting outside on your private deck, or from inside while sitting in the dining room or living room. Each bedroom has large closets and dressers for clothing storage. The living room had a pull out queen bed and ample room for entertaining, and there are also board games, puzzles, and books for you to enjoy. The large open kitchen comes stocked with all the essential utensils and cookware you will need for cooking. Outside you will find a large private deck equipped with patio furniture and a gas grill. The fenced in backyard is great for outdoor yard games and bonfires. There is an active railroad track across the street, with trains running throughout the day and evening.

Parking is available in the rear of the building. This unit is accessible by stairs only. You will receive the keypad entry code to unlock the front door prior to your arrival.

Other things to note
There is no smoking permitted inside the unit, as well as a no-pet policy. There is an active railroad track between the property and the river with trains running throughout the day and evening. There is also a boat launch directly across the tracks, and a conservation lot to park a boat trailer.
