I have a beautiful clean spacious downtown one bedroom apartment with great views of Brooklyn Bridge and the Financial District. I'm steps away from Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho, Tribeca and City Hall. Easy access to over 10 major subway lines.
I've been told that my apartment appears to look like you are outside. I chose the colors and hand painted (not wall paper) my apartment to have tranquil peaceful atmosphere. My house plants also adds a nature appeal in this "concrete jungle" city. Besides the wireless access, I have cable, which includes over 1000 channels and HBO that you can watch on my 47 in (119.38cm) flat screen TV.
Guests has access to the living room, dining area, kitchen and bath room. The apartment is equipped with a comfortable 3ft queen electric air mattress that also includes sheets, blankets and towels.
If I'm home, I spend most of my time in my bedroom.
My neighborhood is great for sightseeing. I like to call it the original New York. I live along the East River near the South Street Seaport. Easy access to Brooklyn Bridge. You are walking distance to the World Trade Center; Battery Park, City Hall, Chinatown, Lower East Side, Soho and Tribeca.
I'm near to major Subway Stations (Fulton Street and Brooklyn Bridge). You can take the A, C, J, R, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 trains. or the M15 or M22 both go uptown.
This is a gay-friendly apartment.
Frederick's apartment was spotlessly clean, the self-inflating blow-up mattress was huge and very comfortable, and the neighborhood was a great place to be. Frederick was incredibly welcoming, going above and beyond what I expected to make my trip more pleasant and comfortable (offering a huge amount of advice about the public transit, letting me borrow a coat and scarf, providing me with a towel, and even cooking a 5-star gourmet dinner on my final night!).
I would recommend anyone to stay with Frederick.
Frederick was very accommodating, being available when my arrival into NYC by bus from DC was delayed and graciously allowing a late departure. He gave helpful advice getting around NY. His apartment was very clean, neat and very pleasantly decorated with nice houseplants. He made me feel quite welcome. It is a 5-10 min walk to subways, plenty of eateries near the subways. For jogging/walking, easy access to Brooklyn Bridge and East River Bikeway.
Highly Recommend :)
Very cozy warm vibe in this bright apartment.
Freddy was a great friendly host and I was lucky enought to be treated to a performance when he played his Viola for me. So close to Chinatown and south street seaport.
Very pleasant stay at a very central location next to almost everything in the south of manhattan. Warm and friendly host. We would definately stay there again!
