Sean is an excellent host. I appreciated his timely email responses that included restaurant, beach and activity recommendations. The bungalow was comfortable and the view is outstanding!
Sean made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of great information. This is a great place...best Airbnb experience we have had thus far.
This place is great--inviting, amazing view, comfy bed and modern kitchen. Sean was easy to communicate with and left a welcoming bottle of wine and other things. The location itself was the only drawback--if you have intentions on walking down to the beach/restaurants (as we did in other stays in Laguna) you may find doing so rather daunting. But we had no problem driving down and enjoying the restaurants and beach. It was a perfect place for a babymoon!
My husband and I had an amazing stay at Sean's bungalow! None of the photos do it justice. Especially the ocean view! Sean was in contact with me every step of the way. I could not have asked for a better first-time Airbnb user experience! He even printed out a list of suggested activities, dining, etc. that he left out for us upon arrival, along with a nice bottle of wine. I would recommend Sean's place to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, convenient stay in Laguna Beach. We will be back for sure!!
Sean is an amazing host! There was a nice bottle of wine awaiting us along with a basket of other things we might need, 2 passes to the Sawdust Festival and a pretty extensive guide with recommendations of things to do in Laguna Beach. We were in pretty constant communication as Sean kept checking in to see if there was anything we needed.
Sean was the most helpful host EVER! After 10 hours travelling, it was so unexpected and touching to arrive to a welcome hamper with wine, chocolate, sun cream, a first aid kit, information on the local area and HOME MADE COOKIES - we were absolutely blown away at his thoughtfulness and generosity. Sean was fantastic throughout the lead up to our stay - with prompt communication and heaps of tips on what to do and where to go. The house and location were both gorgeous, spotless and we really could have stayed much longer.
We were delighted to receive a "gift" basket when we walked in the door to his home...wine, chocolates, sundries, maps and two tickets to the Sawdust Art Festival!
The house is nestled high in the hills of Laguna in a very classy neighborhood. We had a view of the ocean and the hills below us, scattered with wonderful properties. The house is an older one, but Sean has had some nice upgrades done....those that really (email hidden)e kitchen and the bathroom! It is in an extremely quiet (email hidden)ad silent in the late afternoons, the evenings, and all weekends. The noise during the weekday was only construction workers in the area, building or renovating properties, and it was not really noise. The street, Crestview, is a real challenge. 99% of the people driving up or down are very cautious and drive slowly around the curves. We had only 1 near hit! (Teenagers!) The weather was a bit humid...unusual for California...the house is not air conditioned, but Sean had some good fans around, so we managed easily. A lovely "getaway"
