  • Leo is a truly congenial host and a very sweet person. We had lot's of fun visiting with him and the other guests and the house is beautiful and perfectly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable- both my wife and I have never slept so well while traveling. Consider earplugs if you are sensitive to traffic as 101 is close by....but it was no problem for us. We brought bikes and were able to cruise around town, Cal Poly campus and go on a tour of Edna Valley wine country directly from Leo's, no car needed. This was a fantastic place for us and we will definitely stay there again when in SLO. We feel like we made a new friend. Great value.

  • We stayes at Leo's for a couple of nights. He is nice gentleman around 60, and quite talkative once he had warmend to us.

The room is pretty small, there is no place for chairs or a table. As a consequence, we sat most of the time in the kitchen when at home. (The wifi also only worked there.) Everything was very clean and very well maintained. The house itself is arranged with a lot of taste, with really beautiful furniture.
Leo was a very helpful host, came up with suggestions and recommendations and joined us for many a chat or discussion, even going so far as to open a bottle of local wine on our las evening. All in all a great airbnb experience where we established a connection to the host.

  • We stayed a night and it was absolutely perfect. While Leo was out of town, his friend watching the house very hospitable. He gave us a spread of wine, cheese and fruit when we arrived Saturday afternoon. The bed was comfortable, the house was beautiful and the location was very close to downtown SLO.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed with Leo for two days while vacationing in SLO for her birthday. Leo's home is beautiful and very well kept, and the location is great. Leo was very kind and made sure we felt right at home. If you're looking for a place to stay in SLO, stay with Leo!

  • Leo was a very nice host, we had lovely discussions. The place is very clean and cosy, and we also had a breakfast ready in the morning, which is very rare. Location us great and we could park just in front of the house. Would definitely recommend to stay at Leo's!

  • This was our first time using Airbnb, and we had a great experience. Leo was a great host, and his house looked just like the pictures. Our room was upstairs which was nice, gave us a little privacy. Everything was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Can't wait to use Airbnb again.

  • We had such a good time with Leo! Though our stay with him was only 2 nights. We didn't speak to Leo too much because he was away one of those two nights but he was so lovely and friendly. The house itself was about 10-15 minute walk from downtown and in a really nice and quiet street. Leo also had two animals a cat called Lucy and a dog called Maylo and they were adorable! Really nice getting to know them.

Have lived in San Luis Obispo for 30 years, where I enjoy going to eateries and artistic events that include music, plays and readings. The Downtown and Cal Poly State University are less that a half-mile from my house. Also enjoy biking to the beach at Avila, Montana de Oro, etc. Traveled to parts of the US and Europe, and am looking forward to venturing to the Asian areas. I own Cuesta Geotechnical, a company that specializes in cleaning toxic waste in the air, soil and groundwater. This fits well with my desire to protect our amazing Central Coast region. I am excited to share my home, my dog, and my cat, and this special place with visitors.
