Breeda has a beautiful house, and the room is lovely, airy and spacious. I stayed in the double room with ensuite, and was very impressed with the size of the bedroom, and how quiet and peaceful it was. There is plenty of storage too and the bathroom and bedroom were spotless. Breeda made me feel very welcome, offering me tea on arrival and I felt I could relax in her home. She was very accommodating and went our of her way to make me feel at home. The countryside around Breeda's house is stunning, and it was great to be away from the city. I would recommend staying at Breeda's as I very much enjoyed my stay.
Staying with Breeda was nice. We were able to arrange a last minute stay for two nights with our baby for whom we build a baby fortress with a matrass, pillows and a chair. We had good conversations and enjoyed the company of Helga, a visiting friend. Room was clean, bed linnen was terrific. We enjoyed the Lake Gur very much, we even dressed up medieval style!
Very good experience. Breeda is a nice person and we were very happy to meet her. She makes an excellent bread for the breakfast and the bed is just....the best in the world!!
Good advices for the trip. serinitly ambiance.
Thanks Breeda for your welcome.
My boyfriend and I spent tow nights at Breeda's home. It was a wonderful experience in a beautiful house in a rural area not much far away from Limerick. The room was very spacious and clean, as it is shown in the pictures. Breeda cooked for us some delicious organic meals for a very reasonable price. Breeda is a lovely lady with a healthy lifestyle. Both of us connected with her and her dog Ben from the first moment, and we strongly recomend to live that experience. When we come back to Ireland we will vist her again for sure!
We had a very comfortable stay with Breeda. The accommodations were good and there is a nice walk to a historic overlook. The house is a bit of a drive from Limerick and there are few pubs or restaurants nearby, but the surrounding area has many interesting sites, including Grange stone circle and Glenstal monastery.
I am so grateful my daughter and I booked a 3 night stay with Breeda. Her beautiful home has a peaceful energy that invites you to slow down and appreciate moment to moment the gift it is to be away from routine and appreciate all that each day holds. I have been practicing yoga for decades and found Breeda to be an amazing yoga instructor. Her lifestyle of daily mediation, yoga and nourishing food preparations will inspire you to live paying closer attention to the choices you make each day. I can't speak highly enough about our experience with her and suggest you don't hesitate to book yourself in for a memorable experience that will leave you yearning to return.

About the Host, Breeda
In the late 90’s whilst living in New York City I went on my first hiking tour with Carol & Dick of Timberline Tours into the Grand Canyon. What an amazing experience and also the beginning of a long journey home to Ireland. At the time I was working in the computer industry as a project manager in the IT department of a large law firm in the Wall Street area (now that's a mouthful). One of the partners asked if I would be checking my messages whilst on holiday and when I found myself looking for a phone in Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, I knew something in my life needed to change....
Around the same time I moved from Manhattan into a Brownstone garden apartment on Clinton Avenue in Brooklyn, NY., my very favorite part of New York City.
In my garden I planted flowers and came to realize some years later that I also planted the seeds to my new life...... I quit my job in early 2000. My plan was to take 3 months off work to relax and contemplate my life. At the time I had been taking weekly classes at a local yoga studio so naturally I did more yoga and then I found myself at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health where I did a yoga teacher training just so that I could do yoga every day all day for 30 days.
As a friend once said ‘one thing borrowed another’ and here I am back home in Ireland, teaching yoga, growing organic vegetables with a plan to being self sustainable.
Before returning to Ireland in 2004, I became somewhat of a gypsy traveling the United States from East to West in my Toyota Camry Wagon. I spent time in Santa Fe, NM; Sebastapol, CA; Tyringham, MA, Sedona, AZ to name but a few. What a vast magnificent country the United States of America is....
I travel back to my other home as often as time and money will allow and that is how I first found airbnb.
Whilst visiting New York in August 2012, I stayed with an airbnb host right across from my old home on Clinton Avenue. It was such a wonderful experience that I decided from now on, airbnb is the only way to travel. I do hope you will come for a visit and stay for a while.
