Our Coach House is a one bedroom, 1 bath(shower only) with kitchen and living area combined, in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood, located above Crescent Beach, BC. It has recently been finished so is a new space featuring granite countertops, hardwoods in living area, carpeted entry and (website hidden) facilities include a combination toaster/grill, electric frying pan, microwave and fully equipped kitchenware. Wi-fi and Satellite TV included. We have a cozy outdoor area with fireplace, where guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoors as well as have use of our barbeque.
We are l0 minutes (walking) to Crescent Beach, 10 min. drive to White Rock beach, and 10 minutes to US border. Crescent Beach is a beautiful treat to enjoy with Fish and Chip restaurants as well as fine dining and gorgeous sunsets. Laid back, people come to enjoy picnics, bird watching, water sports and just plain hanging out. Also, close to White Rock you can enjoy shopping, fine dining and again beautiful sunsets.
We are close to public transit and 45 minutes from Vancouver (downtown) and the YVR airport.
Come, relax and enjoy your stay with complete privacy, and we are sure to see you again!

The place was exactly as pictured in the advertisement, and it was sparkling clean on arrival. It was a great place to stay, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Crescent Beach/White Rock area.
Fran was an outstanding host. We saw her at the beginning and end of our stay, and she was very helpful in giving us recommendations on things to do and where to eat.
All in all, it was a great stay, and I would definitely go back!
If you are visiting South Surrey or White Rock, this is absolutely your best bet for accommodation. The apartment is new and well appointed with all the modern comforts a guest could want. The large bed is super comfortable, the shower is hot and has high water pressure, the TV has lots of channels, the WIFI is fast and reliable and the detached unit is very private with a key-code entry way. Fran and Dennis are lovely hosts who made us feel very much at home. We look forward to our next stay at the Coach House!
I almost don't want to write a review so as to keep this cozy getaway to myself. I can't imagine a better place to stay while visiting the area.
This place was fabulous! The guest house is beautiful and had everything we needed. It is super clean, and was recently renovated, so it was in tip-top shape. The backyard has a lovely patio with grill and gas fireplace, so that made for very cozy and laid-back nights. The hosts (Dennis was there during our visit) are fantastic, incredibly helpful and have great advice on what to see around town.
I would love to stay here again someday! Thank you Fran and Dennis for providing such a lovely place to stay and for your great hospitality!
Very nice place to stay. Quiet location which was very nice for a honeymoon. Fran and Dennis were very welcoming.
Fran and Dennis are a peaceful couple that are there to give you anything you need and be as friendly as you need or give you space as needed. Fran went out of her way to bring a high chair to the space since we were bringing our 18 month old daughter, Nora. I also realized I would need a baby gate for the top of the stairs and she was able to bring one from her daughters house and have it there for us when we arrived.
The beautiful pictures of the apartment are a great indication of the space. It is a very functional space and I actually fell in love with using the plug in electric frying pans and burners by the time we had finished up our week. The fresh air was lovely, too, coming from a hot muggy Florida Summer. You can open the windows for a cross breeze and it feels amazing.
The neighborhood is beyond amazing. You can spend your whole vacation just strolling and exploring. You will see beautiful houses, mountain top ocean views and friendly neighbors. I was hoping to feel close to White Rock so we could have a lively destination but it turns out that Surrey is more of a gem than White Rock and I was quite pleased to have inadvertently discovered this little treasure of a town.
Next door there are two homes being built so there is some slight construction sound that is blocked out 90% when windows are closed.
If you need absolute quiet, make sure to ask Fran if the construction has been completed before you arrive.
We went to the local Organic Market which Fran told us about and it had amazing groceries. We bought everything we needed for a weeks worth of early breakfasts and healthy snacks (we had lunches out :)
But I forgot the butter! So I asked Fran for butter and she happily supplied us with some which was so heartwarming.
Thank you Fran and Dennis :)))
Our stay with Fran and Dennis was a nice one. The place itself is new and gorgeously appointed. Very upscale and tasteful.
I had booked the place originally for me alone, but when my family decided to tag along, Fran graciously accepted the change in numbers.
The suite would have been a perfect size for one, and even two people. But add a boisterous three-year-old boy and the quarters seemed a tad cramped. Not Fran's fault; it's ours for having Davey. There is also no place to put suitcases except on the floor, thus reducing floor space. But this is small stuff (mentioned only to keep this review balanced).
Crescent Beach is a quiet place, but close to the booming smallish town of White Rock, with its famous beach. At low tide you can walk for miles on the flats, fly a kite, run a dog, play with kids. It's a family place.
Once you get tired of the beach and the few gourmet restaurants, head to Richmond or Vancouver.
I'm sure the Fran and Dennis have other places in Crescent Beach to recommend; we did not spend sufficient time with them to know.
One final thought. Fran's place is more suited to short stays, in my opinion, because the lack of laundry facilities will drive you to coin laundries (actually you'll have to drive yourself, because they are a fair distance away), and spending an hour or two in a laundry is time away from the beach.
All in all, a very peasant place to spend a quiet 3-4 days for two.
Hi I'm Fran (aka Franny) and my hubby Dennis. We have lived in this most beautiful area for 28 years, and we feel so lucky to live in this paradise. We love to travel, entertain (we do lots of family entertaining, everyone related is in Ontario). We enjoy the great outdoors as much as possible golfing and sightseeing whenever possible. We are great at hosting and enjoy meeting people from all over the world. Being travellers we have an understanding of expectations while away from home and we know without doubt we have a winner here! Come visit and see for yourself.
