At the park there's a must see sunset overlooking Manhattan & the East River. 24/7 conveniences and very SAFE! Short walk to Metro, access to the entire city. Come sit at an Astoria cafe and watch the people go by while sipping your greek frappe!

This was my first time in New York, and Francis definitely caters to those who are unfamiliar with the city. From the helpful info in the listing, to the little touches provides within the apartment, this is the best experience I could have asked for when traveling here for the first time. Thank you for your hospitality!
Francis was an extremely welcoming and attentive host. He checked in (non-intrusively) numerous time during our stay to make sure that all was going well. Lots of restaurants and conveniences in the Astoria neighborhood also made it a pleasurable stay. And plenty of room for our family of four. This was a very convenient location to visit Manhattan. It was a 6 minute walk to the subway and less than 20 minutes direct to Times Square/Rockefeller Center. We would certainly recommend Francis' apartment to anyone, and we would certainly stay there again.
My family and I had a great time at Francis's apartment. We were really glad that we choose his place because everything went smooth. The apartment is exactly as described and since we are fussy about cleanliness, we had nothing to complain about. Any questions we needed answered Francis was always there to help. Location is exactly in the middle of everything. All the shopping is in walking distance and the subway is a few blocks away. I would certainly recommend Francis's apartment. Thanks Francis.
We stayed three nights at the Zen Plant Oasis. The accommodation was just as described and easy to find. Francis was very good at communicating with us even though we arrived very late on the 29th. We never had the pleasure of meeting due to our differing schedules. Astoria along Steinway, where the listing is located, is very middle eastern. Parts of Astoria have earned the name 'Little Egypt' and I think it fits. While this is not what we expected, it was a great cultural experience. There are plenty of nice places to grab breakfast or coffee within walking distance.
Francis was a great host. Though we didn't get to meet him or his girlfriend he answered all our questions through out our stay. He was always available. The apartment was at a great location! It was clean and very comfortable and spacious. Will definitely stay next time we're in the city.
Francis and his girlfriend were good host. We really like ZEN PLANT OASIS. The apartment is comfortable and convenient. I would certainly recommend Francis's apartment. Thank you Francis and his girlfriend.
Francis was a nice host that took extra care to make sure he was available for us upon arrival even though we didn't get there until almost midnight. The space is in a fun spot and it was clean, I would recommend it.
I'm an easy going local NYC guy. I live here in Astoria with my girlfriend Brit. Travel addict, I've been to over 20 different countries so far many in the Caribbean, Mediterranean and south east Asia. English and Spanish are my two strongest languages. Brit has lived and studied abroad in Europe, she speaks English and French. I have worked in hospitality for over 11 years and know the importance of cleanliness and friendliness!
Traveling to beautiful beaches is our favorite, I also love nature hikes, kayaking and fishing.
We own a dog and a cat very sweet best friends. Suga and Maka, they don't live in the zen oasis in case you're allergic.
We love to travel & meet internationals!
