She showed me around which herbs you can eat on the seaside, that was really wonderful.
It really is "at the end of the world". The house is old and small, but cozy and very quiet. Adriana cooked organic food form e and we told me fascinating stories of her life. I enjoyed my stay very much and I am looking forward to come again.
I had a lovely, relaxing stay in Zeeland with Adriana. She made me feel so welcome and at home. We had lovely conversations. She is a very special host. I can only recommend a stay if you are in need of some recharging.
We spent a long and relaxing weekend at Adriana's house. It really is "at the end of the world"; it is old and small, but cozy and very quiet. Adriana spoiled us with organic food and with many fascinating stories of her life. We enjoyed our stay very much, and we look forward to coming again.
Adriana is the perfect host for a relaxed and quiet weekend at the end of the world. The room and house are very cosy, typical Zeeland style with small stairway and we were free to use the living room. The house is in a quiet corner of the village, just behind the dike and small harbour. The shops are around the corner and you make nice walks along the Oostschelde National Parc. We even cooked vegetarian together and discovered that Adriana has a lot of knowledge about natural food. After we had picked seaweed, she came with cool ideas to use it in the food.
Adriana is a very kind woman with a warm personality.
The house is not too big, so we did spend time together as well.
It was a through holiday for me, relaxed and Adriana prepared very nice food and I slept wonderful.
Adriana showed me nice walks around the village into nature.
She shared her stories, very interesting.
She has her own place in the village.
Basically she is all about nature and can make you appreciate this more.

About the Host, Adriana
An Artist of life , gardener in the wilderness, a painter and herbalist, healer,a waldorf teacher (vrije school kleuterleidster),educator pedagoog. and an.earth mamma, that eat organic food mostly what is grown in 10 miles.
I live in the U S A without electricity ,sleep outside in the summer,I have never wanted a refrigerator or wasmachine. My 3 children only went to school after they know ,how to grow their own food , and take care of them self , make their own clothes spoon, and toys and help build houses and take care for the earth and all their creatures. This is why I raised them in California and Oregon, and travel with them to places where people still live simple and happy about it. I am a radical educator.I helped many children and schools and they helped me. I am a certified waldorf teacher and have a masters in education and a A B. in art. I strongly believed that children learn more from being in nature then in school (website hidden) our school of natural living ,we cook on a wood fire in the outside kitchen ,although there is gas and an oven in the quest house . We wash by the clear drinkable streams. We do not ask of our quests to live that simple.I believe that respect for each others visions and ways make this place a home for people with different paths to enlightenment My work is making trails for the quests to walk through the wilderness around us. I weed the plants that kill the native plants. or overtake the sensitive ones. I do walking meditation during the day I walk 2 miles every 3 days to get my internet charged,so do not expect answers right a way.i live simple and phones do not agree with me. Because i like to share this beautiful place with others became I a member of air bnb.
