Our tasteful and comfortable apartment for two has everything you need on foot in the city centre - retail, culture, restaurants and entertainment within minutes and yet in a quiet traffic free location. Enjoy easy access, 10 minutes walking to beautiful scenery, river walks and theatre and return to a relaxing, modernised apartment.
The apartment is in Inverness city centre on a recently upgraded traffic free street, called Stephens Brae.
From the freshly decorated communal hallway, this private apartment has large south facing, sunny, double windows, which enjoy views across the city centre roof tops and church spires to the hills beyond. This is a cosy and very comfortable apartment which has been renovated to a high standard and provides everything you need.
The accommodation is situated on the first floor of a traditional scottish 'tenement' building and is accessed via a secure communal entrance which has just been recently decorated throughout.
This is the perfect base for 2 people but not really suitable for toddlers or very young children. We do however provide a travel cot for a baby.
With easy access to the stunning Highlands of Scotland and yet Cafe's Restaurant's and Shops a minutes walk away, this unique location is a great place to stay and explore Inverness and the Highlands, with bus and train links only a 5 minute walk.
The apartment is a a very short walk away from many restaurants, cafes and shops including Marks and Spencers Food Hall and in the other direction, a great Deli.
The River Ness is a 5 to 10 minute walk away, and is lovely for an evening stroll or to catch a movie or show at Eden Court Theatre and Cinema.
A number of venues offer contemporary and traditional music throughout the week with special concerts organised during the summer months.
Access to the apartment and all amenities are solely for the use of our guests and includes, double bedroom, bathroom and compact but well equipped kitchen opening onto the living/dining area.
Interaction with guests
We will meet our guests on arrival to provide keys and information about the flat. We live about 1 mile away so we are on hand if required.
Other things to note
Once your booking has been confirmed, you will be able to access our 'manual' which provides information about where to eat, visit and other helpful information. It will also be emailed to you nearer the date of your visit. Detailed directions to Brae Apartment will be provided.
There are other apartments in the block, so please be respectful about noise after 10 pm. For security and insurance purposes please double lock the apartment door and ensure windows are shut when out. Strictly non smoking and if you can avoid cooking food with strong smells too please. When we visited Malaysia recently we were impressed by the way outdoor shoes were left at the entrance door; so we encourage you to leave your shoes at the entrance please.
