Enjoy easy access to beautiful scenery, river walks and theatre and return to a relaxing, modernised apartment.
The apartment is in Inverness city centre on a recently upgraded traffic free street, called Stephens Brae with parking for guests. (Please note; the (website hidden) Earth satellite street view is not our street).
With large south facing, sunny, double windows, the apartment enjoys a view across the city centre roof tops and church spires to the hills beyond. This cosy and very comfortable apartment has been recently renovated to a high standard and provides everything you need. The accommodation is situated on the first floor in a traditional scottish 'tenement' building and is accessed via a secure communal entrance.
This is the perfect base for 2 people but not really suitable for toddlers or young children. We do however provide a travel cot for a baby.

Multiple excursions and car hire is available with on street permit parking provided on arrival.
The apartment is a a very short walk away from many restaurants, cafes and shops including Marks and Spencers Food Hall and in the other direction, a great Deli.
The River Ness is a 5 to 10 minute walk away, and is lovely for an evening stroll or to catch a movie or show at Eden Court Theatre and Cinema.
A number of venues offer contemporary and traditional music throughout the week with special concerts organised during the summer months.
Access to the apartment and all amenities are solely for the use of our guests and includes, double bedroom, bathroom and compact but well equipped kitchen opening onto the living/dining area.

We will meet our guests on arrival to provide keys and information about the flat. We live about 1 mile away so we are on hand if required.
We love that the neighourhood is so quiet and yet so close to the everything the city centre has to offer and with easy access to beautiful scenery too!
Free parking is provided with use of a permit outside the property but please do not leave with the permit! There is easy access to bus/trains/excursions and car hire nearby.

Top of Stephens Brae where the apartment is further down on the right. Velocity Cafe and Bicycle Workshop is a new addition to the street corner!!
Alison was very organised and a pleasure to deal with. Check in and check out were seamless and the apartment was a delight and as described.
Our host's husband met us in the street in front of the apartment and took us through the introduction. The apartment is small, but well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen is tiny but has just about everything you could need to prepare a meal.
The apartment is very central to the town; just 2 blocks up from the train station, one block from the main shopping mall, 1/2 block up from the pedestrian shopping street, and about 4-5 blocks to the river.
Our hosts were very responsive-- even reaching out ahead of time with thoughtful recommendations for food and sight-seeing. The apartment is light-filled and charming located on a lovely street in a great part of town. Highly recommended.
We're so glad we stayed the bulk of our days in Inverness, and doubly glad we stayed at Alison's and John's apartment. It was the perfect spot to visit the city, as well as travel out from to see other areas in the Highlands. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The pictures Alison has up are accurate, which is nice. It was great to have a washer, and almost all of our items dried quickly overnight, which was a real plus. The bed was super comfy - and my husband gives two thumbs up to the water pressure in the shower. We rented a car (the kiosk was just a quick walk down the hill in the shopping mall), and never had a problem parking in front of the apartments with the permit Alison and John provide. A lovely stay - thank you, Alison and John!!
