Casa Tres Arcos has two bedrooms, one bath and a sleeping loft. The house features a medium size kitchen and living room area warmed with a cozy fireplace. It comes with all kitchen appliances, laundry room, sheets, towels and a large library.
The house is situated amid four acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and water streams. It has easy access on an all year round road with low traffic.
The house is about 5 minutes away from the local hot springs and 10 minutes away from local grocery stores. Also there are a couple of typical Costa Rica style restaurants in the village of San Gerardo de Rivas. San Gerardo is the base for the people who climb Chirripo Mountain. The house is 20 minutes away from Cloudbridge Reserve, a private reserve open to the public that hosts volunteers and researchers from all over the world.
The local villages feature small picturesque houses and friendly people. It is a good place to immerse in the culture as well as share with people from Costa Rica and families of expats that have established themselves in the area. One of the main activities of locals and visitors alike is hiking through the beautiful country. A car would be ideal but not absolutely necessary. There is a bus stop 5 minutes away, the bus goes to San Isidro 3 times daily.
If you want peace and quite, a beautiful setting, and a comfortable house surrounded by flowers this is the place for you.

When can I come back! Nice rooms, great attention to detail and beauty. Views to take your breathe away. Owners available and laid back. Great food, very good yoga class, clean hot tub and pool, trails to explore, flowers everywhere. A place to commune with nature.
I'm in love! The views, the surroundings, the attention to detail, the zen atmosphere, the food, the hosts, the yoga class, the air, the river, the overall experience was a gift. Oriana and Frank are smooth, laid back and yet committed to providing you with a wonderful stay. We asked about dinner in the area and they proposed they provide a meal for us - yum!!! A cornucopia of homemade delights. The breakfast, included with the price of the room, was another hit. They seem to be where they are supposed to be, and you are welcomed into that beat with them with ease. In my experience, "hippy" places can be grungy and brick-a brack. This place has that "hippy" feel, but is clean and thoughtfully done in all the right places. The rooms are clean and decorated with care. We did not swim in the pool because of the climate but it was clean and inviting, and we did enjoy a nice, star filled soak in the hot tub. Lovely! Thanks Frank and Oriana!
