The space
The cottage possesses an alluring charm with vintage touches throughout.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, dishes, pots, and pans. We provide linens and towels. Above the kitchen is a sleeping loft with twin mattresses. The kids would love a great night of adventure sleeping. The bedroom has two beds, a double and a queen.

Imagine some quiet time sitting on the deck sipping wine from one of our three local wineries, or maybe it's lemonade or sweet tea that you prefer. The deck overlooks a 2 acre spring fed pond that is stocked with fish for your catch and release enjoyment. Grab a pole, wet a line, we don't mind!!

Where you’ll be

Hampshire, Tennessee, United States

Hampshire is a quiet and friendly community. There are several churches in Hampshire to visit. We also have 3 wineries within a 10 mile radius: Keg Springs Winery, Amber Falls Winery, and Natchez Hills Vineyard. Down the road from the property is a great shop called "Copperhead Creek Studio", which is owned by our friends Montie and Renee Couch. Also, the Natchez Trace is only about 7 miles up the road. The Natchez Trace has some great hiking/biking trails.
Columbia is a sweet town about 20 minutes away. It is known as the Mule Capital of the world. It has many grocery stores, shops, boutiques, etc . It has a wonderful downtown area. Some of our favorite spots/restaurants/shops in Columbia that we like to visit are:
-Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant
-Southern Tre Steakhouse
-Oak and Lace
-Lily Jane
-Muletown Roasted Coffee
-Variety Records
-Pie Sensations
-Southern Exposure
-Buckhead Coffee House
-Ted's Sporting Goods
-Bleu 32 Antiques
-Ye Peddler
-The Faded Farmhouse
-and many more….
About 25 minutes from the cottage is a large Amish community in Ethridge. You can go to the Amish Visitors Center and take a wagon tour of Amish country, or get a map and go by yourself. The Amish sell just about anything you can think of, from farm fresh eggs to hand made furniture. (at a much better price than any retail store!)
We are just a little more than an hour from Music City USA, Nashville, Tennessee.

My husband and I moved to Hampshire 23 years ago. We love the rolling hills and the pastoral farmland in this part of Maury county. We are surrounded by great friends and "adopted" family members.
We love this place and hope you will too!
