Keisu is a very loving and caring woman and she went out of her way to take care of our every need. The bedroom is huge with lots of storage space. The king size bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is wonderful with great water pressure in the shower. It is a quiet and peaceful place and so convenient to activities in the area. I would highly recommend a stay at On the Sunny Side.
Keisu is a wonderful host and her space is comfortable and warm. I would definitely stay with her again on my next trip up to the Russian River!
Keisu is the host with the most. She is so genuine, interesting, fun and deeply thoughtful. I would stay with Keisu again. The room looked the same as in the photo, being spacious and with a nice view of the garden. It was clean, warm, and comfortable. The environment felt like a home.
We had great time at Keisu's place over the weekend.
We are family with two kids and we had a pleasant time in a bed room with a king-size bed and a futon.
This room has a door (window) opened to the backyard and this gives the private space you can walk around and the kids to play.
Keisu has beautiful gardens with flowers and fruit trees. My kids enjoyed checking out the trees and riding the small slide in the backyard.
We had breakfast together, Keisu made coffee and provided the fruits. I brought the bread I bought at Nightingale's bakery which is less than 5 min drive from this house. The best baguette in the region.
Keisu recommended some of the restaurants and we visited one of them. Excellent choice. She was known in town for good reason.
The location is convenient, close to highway 116 that you can easily plan out routes visiting key wineries.
I would like to visit Keisu's place again after winter. It was fun trip with good memories.
We booked a room with Keisu for a last-minute weekend getaway up at the Russian River with plans to do some cycling/wine-tasting. Keisu called to make sure we found everything and were comfortable. We had a chance to chat for a little while that night, which was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. In the morning we enjoyed a pot of coffee in the backyard and garden amongst the vegetables and fruit trees. We hung out with her amazing (and old) rescue dog, Opal. Keisu was a very warm and welcoming hostess. Her home is lovely, comfortable, and in the perfect location to enjoy everything the Russian River has to offer. We will be back!
Keisu was a lovely host. Very warm, friendly and
welcoming. We shared some wine, and great
conversation, as she experimented making kale
chips , which were fabulous! Later we enjoyed
some wonderful macaroons ( thanks Dominique)!
I am sure we will return to Sonoma in the future
and would love to stay with Keisu again.
Keisu has a beautiful soul. We enjoyed getting the opportunity to stay with her and getting to know her. She has an incredible energy about her and is full of kindness and love. We can't wait to go back and enjoy the stunning scenery and enjoy exploring this hidden gem in wine country.
We had a comfortable stay. We didn't interact much in person but Keisu was thoughtful and responsive and made staying there smooth!
I booked a night at Keisu's place for my parents and my brother on their way up to Vancouver. They we quite pleased with the arrangement and said that although the place was a little small for the three of them it was very comfortable and Keisu was very friendly. They would gladly recommend it to others
