When we arrived, Keisu was gone. She had left the house available to us; we walked into a beautiful living room with tiny red lights glowing. It was such a joy. The room is spacious and the bed is a king!! Wow! We really enjoyed the comfort and the homeness.
We were warmly welcomed. Everything was just as described. Keisu was so friendly--it was like staying with a friend.
This was a very comfortable stay. We felt welcome and well taken care of by the host. The house offers a lot of privacy. A private bathroom and the room itself was spacious, warm and well decorated. The room has a sliding door that opens to a beautiful backyard, that we had an opportunity to enjoy. This is a very lovely home with a very welcoming host and warm for winter. It was super stay!
The king-sized bed was super comfy and Keisu's place totally served our purpose. She was a friendly, responsive host who was nice enough to let us pick persimmons from her yard, and my 5-yr-old had a fantastic time with her cool grand kids who happened to be there during our time in Forestville. (We did too!)
We had a swell time staying with Keisu in Frorestville. She made us feel welcome and at home. She knew the area well and had lots of recommendations when we asked for where to eat or what to see. The bed was very comfortable. The property is large and she even insisted we take a many persimmons as we wanted. She has a very large tree and they were just ready to pick. Would love to stay with her again next time we are in the area.
Thanks for everything,
Carol and Val
I was admittedly tentative about finding a place to stay through airbnb, as it was my first time. But the only sensible requirements I had were a) the highest number of positive reviews I could find and b) a very reasonable price. So I decided to take the chance, and it was easily one of the most gratifying traveling experiences I've ever had, solely because of Keisu's unyielding gracious, hospitable manner.
I stayed for ten days, through which Keisu not only made me feel completely at home, but also went out of her way to ensure I was experiencing all of what Sonoma County has to offer appropriately and shared personal suggestions and connections, aiding my tenacious quest for work in the wine industry; which paid off.
Keisu's generosity solidified the fact that I picked the right place. There was never a question of privacy and everything is just as much her guest's as it is hers. It was a pleasure staying at this lovely countryside Forestville home, and I would highly recommend taking advantage.
Keisu was very welcoming and helpful, making sure we had the right direction information, checking what we wanted for breakfast etc, giving tips about bike rental, hiking trails and shared with us some of her own home-grown tomatoes! The room is large and bright, and has access to the garden. It was very quiet and we got lucky that the house next door was not working on their remodeling on that Sunday. It is closed to Forestville downtown, where you can go for a walk in nearby wineries and stop for lunch in one of them.

I was born SLC Utah, where i started skiing @ 4yrs. old. Thought my greatest love was the mts. until my father was transfered to SF. and there i learned to sail on the bay. Traveled back and forth across the continent for three years until moving to England when i was 21 yrs.old. traveled in northern Europe and back to the US. Came to Sonoma County in 1976 and besides alot of "travel trips" I haven't left. Found Forestville to meet all my needs and keep me close to the mts, close to the ocean, and close to my favorite city-by-the-bay. Been a therapist for 27 years and have a studio on the property. Have been a guest with airbnb in Europe and want to meet and share with others of like mind. Lots of fun times with my kids and grandkids who live close. Been doing mosaic work for years and 3yrs ago did a project with kids from a rural town south of Puerto Vallarta. I guess that's my greatest love ...travel and kids, oh yeahh and then theres those mountains and oceans. well, I guess if safe to say...I lOVE LIFE . We would love to have you come and share our quaint and joyous home and neighborhood.
