We had a wonderful stay with Joyce. Her home is in a lovely quiet, safe area. Every morning we were greeted with a fresh delicious breakfast. Her home is in walking distance to the historical town called Folsom, which we really enjoyed looking around. Room and bathroom clean and tidy with homely touch. We had another room with couch and desk available too. We loved sitting on the deck outside watching the squirrels and humming birds. Would love to visit Joyce again oneday.
The listing description is pretty accurate. Joyce is very hospitable and made us feel at home. She was accommodating to our needs and very nice to talk to. We had a pleasant stay with her.
Joyce was a wonderful hostess. We arrived late and wanted to go into town Folsom to eat something (takes 40 minutes to walk). Joyce explained to us in detail, where we find something delicious to eat. Since it was very late, they preferred to pick us up :-)))). How nice! Inexpressibly the terrace with the view of the countryside. The squirrels and hummingbirds feel at home there, you can watch it closely. She made us even fresh waffles for breakfast and the table was set as in a luxury hotel. Unfortunately we had to leave the next morning, I very much regret not having had more time with her, I would love to communicate longer with her. Joyce is extremely friendly and I would highly recommend staying with her.
Joyce's hosting and home were fabulous for the work/travel I had to do in the area. She was wonderful for a conversation, and very considerate and accomadating for all my needs (though I had very few). The view and breeze in the back yard was amazing as was the amount of wildlife she attracted. I would have my own dinners out on the back porch and the birds would just continue flying about on their own business, hummingbirds continuing on their way just a few feet away.
Absolutely wonderful. Joyce is super sweet and welcoming and her house is beautiful. I wish I'd found it earlier in my stay in the area!
The garden is lovely to sit and relax in and Joyce does everything possible to make you feel totally at home the moment you step through the door into her lovely home.
This was a last minute booking, we were in town and decided to stay at about 8pm! Joyce was very welcoming, and told us to swing by anytime before. My 12 year old turned in early, and I chatted with Joyce for a short while and then took in some TV. Breakfast was a treat, fruit and coffee and waffles. Especially since I never expect this. The room was nice and the house very clean. Could not want anything more.
Joyce is a delight to stay with. Everything was fresh, clean, and organized. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Thanks Joyce!
