About This Listing
This listing includes a continental breakfast, laundry facilities, TV, WiFi, and beach gear.
The master suite has a queen size bed with a very comfortable memory foam mattress, private bathroom, walk-in closet, TV (with streaming services including Netflix), refrigerator, and coffee maker. The bathroom is equipped with his and her sinks, hairdryer, large tiled shower with built in bench, and a jacuzzi tub. The suite also has it's own private entrance and covered lanai (balcony).
This listing also includes a continental breakfast with kitchen access from 7am - 10am, laundry facilities, and beach gear.
'Luxury Master Suite' is located in a large, four bedroom home which I share with my girlfriend, cat, and airbnb guests.
You will have access to your room (including refrigerator and coffee maker), kitchen (7am - 10am only), bathroom, bath towels, beach equipment (including body boards, beach towels, snorkeling gear, and coolers), laundry facilities (4pm - 8pm), and a parking space on the driveway.
Interaction with Guests
I do my best to be home to welcome every guest and show them around upon checking in. I live here too, so will generally be available to talk with or answer any questions guests may have
The house is conveniently located with just a 5 minute walk to Princeville Center where you can find shops, restaurants, a bus stop, supermarket, gas station, post office, library, park, banking facilities, and more. There is a volleyball court, basketball court, and large green area literally right next door to the house and you will find beaches, hikes, surf spots, and other outdoor activities within half a mile.
Princeville is home to the #1 rated golf course in Hawaii and is located on over 350 acres of fairways, trees and stunning ocean and mountain views. The closest hole is just a block away.
I would highly recommend renting a car while visiting Kaua'i. There is a public bus service that stops just 5 minutes walk away from my house, but if you are wanting to explore beaches, snorkeling spots, and hikes, you will not be able to do so using the bus as it only stops in towns.
In true Hawaiian style, please take off your shoes and wash off any sand or mud outside before entering the home.
Quiet hours: 10pm - 7am. You can come and go from the house as you please, but must remain quiet during quiet hours.
No smoking on property. No visitors.
Clean up after yourselves and show respect and courtesy to everyone in the house.
Mahalo (Thank You)
Rob's room is a fantastic place to stay! He gave us lots of good advices for the North Shore area! We really recommend to stay here! Thanks again for having us, Robbie!
We had a nice stay at Rob's airbnb during our honeymoon. The description was accurate and Rob was a helpful host who also gave us privacy and we were able to come and go freely. The lawnchairs, boogie boards and snorkelling gear were a bonus!
Thanks a lot Rob, we had a great time at your house! Too bad we couldn't meet you, but Kiezo did a good job. The suite and especially the bathroom was very spacious and clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast on the lanai. Your descriptions of north shore beaches and restaurants were very helpful. Beach gear was a big plus. Perfekt location at the north shore!
Wunderschönes luxuriöses Zimmer

TRAUMSTRÄNDE lt. Rob´s Empfehlungsliste
Rob made getting in very easy and didn't have to be there for us since our schedule changed last minute. This was great since we could then take our time getting there after our flight arrived. Princeville is beautiful and Hanalei bay is under ten minutes away, and the drive is amazing getting there. The place was very clean and updated. The bed was a very comfortable tempurpedic mattress which was great to have when we came home after our epic adventures on the island. Rob was very welcoming and willing to talk with us about our plans on the island along with other guests at the house during breakfast hours. It was a little difficult to use the laundry during laundry hours (4-8pm) because of our schedule but we managed to get a load in the last day which was great. The binder had just about everything we needed to know as well. We were also able to use the hose for our shoes and jeep since they were absolutely covered in dirt along with the assortment of beach gear in the garage. Overall the experience was wonderful and we would definitely recommend and go back and stay with Rob on our not soon enough return trip to Kauai.
It was an amazing place to stay. The house was clean and welcoming. Also the room was great. Quite neighborhood and close the Queens baths and Hanalei Bay.
Rob's house was in a very nice, beautiful and safe neighborhood in Princeville. It is right next to a park.
The pictures show the room very well. The bathroom was very nice and the closet was huge. A great value for the money. There were other people staying there but the house was quiet and we slept very well. They have a quiet hour rule. The bed was comfortable --and I have back problems.
Some downsides (or potential downsides) are there was no A/C that I am aware of but the room was cooled nicely from the open windows. Heat was not a problem while we were there in May but could be at other times of the year.
We were planning on using the snorkel equipment but after trying 4 different masks we only found one that didn't leak. They could use updated. We wish we would have brought our own.
The hours on the laundry are limited from 4-8pm. We didn't notice this until the last morning and were planning on using the laundry that night. We brought limited clothing because we had seen that laundry facilities were available. We ended up finding a nice laundry on the way to Poipu with a Shave Ice within walking distance so it wasn't much of a problem, but did cost a few dollars we were not planning on spending on laundry. (the coconut shave ice with macadamia ice cream was delicious.)
The kitchen access was also limited from 7-10 am. We never used it during those hours but Rob did heat up some pizza for us one night at our request.
Over all we were pleased with the accomodations and the price was great. The downsides I listed were very minor but just something to be aware of if you do plan on staying.

About the Host, Rob
I've been living on Kauai for a little over three years now and absolutely love it here. After having lived in many different places around the world, this is the first place that I have ever considered settling down.
I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, swimming, cooking, playing the drums, reading good books, beaching, working out, building things, working on my jeep, or just spending quiet time at home.
