  • Jeremy is everything that you could ever ask for and more as far as AirbNb hosts go!! He was so helpful with everything when we asked and left us to ourselves when we didn't. The overall stay here is exactly why Airbnb is so great. The pictures of the place online do not do it justice. It has such a nice warm feel and it is in the perfect location. I was able to entertain a few friends at night and the outdoor space made it AAA+ I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants an amazing NYC experience. This place is such a great deal compared to the small overpriced hotel rooms in NYC. If you want comfortable living space with an excellent host then look no further!! Thanks Jeremy we will be seeing you next time for sure :)

  • Jeremy has been a very available host, very well organized and took care of everything making sure we where always fine and comfortable. It was my first experience with Airb&b and I was a little nervous about it, but it turned out as a fantastic experience. The apartment is absolutely cool, clean and with all the comforts.
I would definitely try to rent again next time. The area is really good too. I can certainly reccomand this flat with no doubts.
    Thank Jeremy!

  • We had a great trip to New York and Jeremy's apartment was an awesome place to stay. Amazing location close to Flatiron, beautiful apartment block with 24/7 security, and an amazing apartment if you're passing through NY. We stayed for 5 nights of a business trip (so we appreciated the super-fast wifi)! Jeremy was great. He met us to check in and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I'd recommend this apartment to anyone...

  • Jeremy bent over backwards to help us and his apartment is absolutely brilliant and in an amazing location. I was there with my two daughters and we didn't want to leave. I would recommend it to anyone.

  • Jeremy's apartment offers something that is very rare in NYC—peace and quiet. The neighborhood is fairly quiet to begin with, but the apartment is very well soundproofed and allows you a great night's sleep.

Adding to that is the comfort of the beds. The king in the main bedroom was super comfy, and the sleeper (normally a warning sogn for me) was far and away the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Triple aces.

Also worth noting is a very interesting collection of books that will be of particular note to anyone in the photo/visual arts field. Nice to have great stuff to read on the road.

Cap it off with the fact that Jeremy was proactive with his texts, making sure all was well and that we were having a good time. We had no problems, but I imagine if there were any he would have been very responsive.

Lastly, if you like Indian/Pakistani food, this neighborhood (27th and Lex) is the place to be. It is affectionally known as "Curry Hill."

All in all, a great stay.

  • We also have to pick the key on another location, but it was just next our train station. Sadly, we never see Jeremy during our trip but he was answering your question the minute we ask him! The location of this apart is amazing! Just next the subway, tones of good restaurant, bars and café around, very secure, full of trees. The apart was perfectly clean, especially the bathroom. The apart is cute as the picture and everything working well BUT many things are old, second-hand or used. The bed is high, but clean and very comfortable. We had a very hot and humid temperature during our stay, and, despite the air conditioning, the comfort inside was not easy to control. We didn’t really use the kitchen, everything was working but it’s provided little. We used the apart mainly to sleep, so it was perfect for us. We recommend this flat for sure!

  • BAD EXPERIENCE WITH JEREMY! If you never want to meet your host, does not have the services offered on the announcement and have no answers to the questions you ask him I recommend renting this apartment ... When you arrive on site understand that Jeremy is not serious and he does not care whether things are going well for you. KEYS: Contrary to what was expected I get the keys in another neighborhood of NYC and the keys I was given were not those of the flat… WIFI: An important criteria for the rental of the apartment was to have free wifi and the description said there were. BUT THERE IS NO WIFI. During 2 days Jeremy told me he was going to solve this problem, but after the third day I have never heard from and he has not responded to my messages or my emails. Jeremy method is simple: he tells you something, but it does the opposite and then it will finally not responding to your messages in the hope that you will tire faster than him. OTHER NEGATIVE POINTS: The cleanliness of the apartment is not fancy, just enough if you do not want to be too critical. The aspect of the apartment is not exceptional and and you do not see on pictures the peeled wallpaper. There is not even a mug in the kitchen to make coffee in the morning. Air Conditioning snores like a truck engine. Jeremy was agreed that I could leave the luggage in the apartment on departure but he changed his mind on the last day. POSITIVE POINTS: The apartment is very well located and quiet. The bed is excellent. West Village is the best area of NY. CONCLUSIONS: I highly recommend this neighborhood where you will feel quickly at home. I highly not recommend you experience with Jeremy and I invite you to find another apartment in the same neighborhood. I think Jeremy does business and he manages several apartments on behalf of others. This host must publish his profile picture and must meet the benefits it offers in its announcement. I think Jeremy can thank his friends for helping to post positive reviews. Before renting compare with other ads in the same neighborhood and you will see that you can find better for the same price. This is my third experience with airbnb for a year and this is the first time I have a disappointing experience. It's unpleasant to see that people cheat in their advertisement and they did not even bother to call you to tell you they do not have a solution for you. It is far from the airbnb mind. Regarding my problem with wifi simply visit Jeremy, or even a call to apologize would suffice. I have not the chance to meet him, even on the last day.E-mail exchange with Jeremy since my return are unpleasant. I have not had the pleasure to finally meet him but I really do not regret it.

    Response from Jeremy:

Juan is completely out of control. I have a total of 19 reviews and 2 of them are a bit iffy, including this one. I have always treated people well. Juan picked up the keys from my girlfriend and she accidentally gave him the wrong keys. I normally hand deliver but was caught up in a meeting. I expressed this to my guest, but I guess his reaction over the phone is a bit more passive compared to this.

I apologize you feel this way. The WIFI was cut and that is my fault, I am willing to send you a check for 70 dollars, or refund you VIA paypal, but you do not express these feelings. I allowed you to check out by 7PM which is generous and I am very polite with all my guest. Your demands are on the level of a 500 per night hotel room, when you are paying 150 a night for your own personal apartment with extremely comfortable bed in the HEART OF THE WEST VILLAGE.... I don't appreciate your agressive emails after you have checked out. LEARN how to confront your issues during your stay rather then after you leave. Terrible guest, never will recommend.

  • The apartment is in a fantastic location. On the door step of the village which is very trendy and laid back compared to the hustle and bustle of MidTown where we were.
The apratment was enough for the two of us and had a great shower. There was no WIFI connection that we could pick up on which appeared to surpris the host. Starbucks was close enough I guess.

About
I am a young entrepreneur and I have recently started my own photo/video production company. I helping a friend make her rent while she is out of town for 6 months. I am interested in many mediums of art, especially film and photography. I love to read books by franzen, camus, poetry, theatre, and scripts. I am also a native new yorker, born and raised, which many people can identify with. I love meeting travelers and traveling myself, as a form of exploration. This is mostly due to my interest in other cultures. I want to help travelers find a place to settle down comfortably-- since i have had such strange hostel situations in my travels. I look to accomodate and encourage guest to contact me about anything they need while they are staying with me. I am able to get reservations and hip restaurants, and get people into clubs and I just enjoy helping the guest get the full experience out of New York.
