Nice spot on the coast! Enjoyed this location, convenient to the Golden Circle attractions and took Soffia's advice on a few out off-the-beaten track sights that were great to see. Btw, (website hidden) maps doesn't recognize the coastal road from here to the Blue Lagoon/KEF–you can drive on it, ignore (website hidden)'s directions if you want to save 30+ minutes driving.
Soffia and her dog Mya were excellent hosts. Delicious breakfasts each morning. Clean, comfortable accomodations. And great suggestions for local attractions / activities. Highly recommended.
Beautiful space in a gorgeous village not far from the "golden triangle"....Soffia was a warm and kind host that makes a mean breakfast! She has a beautiful home and impeccably kept rooms that tempt you not to go out and stay in instead. Her dog is really cute and kind as well! A great value!
This is a lovely guesthouse in a quiet town in south Iceland. The beds are very comfortable and Soffia is a welcoming host who serves an excellent breakfast. There is also an excellent restaurant in Eyrarbakki. We had a very enjoyable stay here.

My name is Soffia and I'm a photographer and artist. I love poetry and British comedy. I enjoy walks on the beach with my dog, Maja, and I truly enjoy a good cup of tea, with some chocolate covered raisins (You'll be hooked even if you don't like raisins)!
I speak English fluently and some Swedish and Danish as well. I have two sons who are both arty people, one is a composer and the other is studying the Alexander Technique in London (I like a little bit of the technique as well).
Come for a visit, you won't regret it!
