All bedrooms and bathrooms have locks for privacy. Building is safe, secure and on a well traveled street.
The neighborhood is bustling with students and other university visitors. There are many area restaurants, cafes and shops. Some of these remain open late. A few cafes open early. Mornings in the area are peaceful and quiet until 10 or 11am. Small grocery market is steps away from the front door, and a 24-hour convenience store is a short walk (2 blocks) away.
Many museums and other attractions are within short walking distance. Among these are the International Institute, The Ruthven Natural History Museum, The UM Museum of Art, the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, and the Thatcher Graduate Library.
A free university bus line stops steps from the building. The Central Campus Transportation Center is a short walk north. It is the primary hub for the university bus lines. Some city bus lines also stop here as well as the DTW airport shuttle, AirRide (Michigan Flyer).
Guests are required to clean up after themselves and are expected to treat all other guests with courtesy and kindness. Only guests are allowed on the premises unless given prior approval.
Private room guests are provided pillows, bed sheets, and towels.
