Interaction with Guests
We try to leave our guests alone unless they require some information or sundry items.
Beautiful unspoiled region of the White Mountains -- brooks, scenic vistas excellent star gazing . Bird watching. There is a nesting pair of golden eagle in the vicinity and we often see them soaring overhead on thermals. Once they even tried to snatch one of our laying hens (but weren't successful). We also once witnessed a perrigrine falcon strike a blue jay that was flying across our meadow. Our hiking trails are very popular and well-used by guests and locals.
A vehicle is recommended although we have picked up guests from the nearby bus station.
