Emily's room, in a beautiful historic house, is comfortable and well-equipped. The host, Claudia, was wonderful, put out an amazing spread for breakfast, and is an interesting person. The other guests were lovely too. I would stay again in a heartbeat and recommend it.
P.S. It is walking distance to a T stop and in a beautfily neighborhood.
Claudia is a perfectly helpful and friendly host. Especially the breakfast at Claudia’s BnB was great. It is delicious and rich, and we had every morning very interesting chats with the other guests.
The room and the bathroom are clean, and the location is perfect for exploring Boston by public transport.
We would definitely come again to Claudia’s.
I enjoyed my stay at A Village B and B a lot. It was a very positive & happy experience.
It was a great locations for me with a T stop on the Green line walking distance and it was an easy ride to major highways. There are nice restaurants around the corner in the Village and a variety of others just a short drive away. Claudia gave me recommendations for dinner in the Village - but as my plans changed I never got to partake. Next time! I appreciated too that Claudia provided off street parking.
Claudia was a very gracious host and made me feel welcome & at home as soon as I arrived. She was kind, considerate, helpful, and has a high level of integrity . And this wasn't just with me, she was that way with us all. You could tell she enjoyed running a B and B and that she took pleasure in making everyone feel at home and gave us all the option to go out everyday with a healthy breakfast and good cheer.
I have some dietary restrictions and she accommodated me so I never left the breakfast table hungry. That meant a lot to me. It hasn't always been so at other places. There were a lot of variety to pick from. And I appreciated that things were fresh
My room and shared bathroom were pleasant, clean, &comfy. In fact the whole house was the same. I felt relaxed there. I had forgotten my hair blower and there was one in the room. A fridge and tv were provided, lots of towels, and a comfy reading chair. Shower was hot- Yeah!
In summary, Staying at A Village B added joy to my trip. I will come back again when in the area and recommend it others.
Thx so much Claudia for all you offered. It was a blessing.
Staying at Claudia's was great! Her house is lovely and the proximity to the train was unbeatable. The food in the morning was just what we were looking for and although the house was full when we were there it was very quiet and pleasant. Well managed and respectful. I hope to be back!
For anyone considering a stay with Claudia at Village b&b, I say DO IT!! My daughter and I had a wonderful stay there during our visit to Boston. We were so comfortable and the transit was basically right up the street. Took us maybe five minutes to walk there. Claudia was was VERY accommodating and helpful with anything that happen to to come up, not to mention the delicious wholesome breakfast that was always ready right when we woke up! I will truly miss this place and wish we could have stayed much much longer!!
