Neighborhood highlights

Our neighbors are the livestock, the wildlife and the brilliant night sky! You may see owls, deer, moose, coyotes, sage grouse, hawks, or cattle while staying at our yurts. There is no WIFI nor cell service at the yurts, but driving about 2 miles down the road gets you back into service! Although your yurts feel remote and rustic, you are only 20 minutes from grocery, hospital, and gas station.

Quite often our travelers fly into SLC or BOI airports and tour Yellowstone, Glacier, Teton, and Craters. The closest commercial airport is Idaho Falls (IDA). We are located 20 miles from Arco (not in Arco), just 10 miles from Craters of the Moon.

These yurts are nestled at the foot of the Pioneer Mountains right off the county road. Biking, hiking and horseback riding are great ways to get around! They are located on a working ranch, so you may see cows and cowgirls during your stay, alongside all our wildlife!

Hi there- my family has lived here for 20 years-we combine our love of ranching with our passion for supporting a healthy rangeland ecosystem. Feel free to book or message me before your stay to ask for local recommendations. I’m happy to answer any specific questions in advance. By day, we run our family cattle ranch. By night, I enjoy reading, riding horses, and preparing extravagant meals. I am a well traveled Airbnb guest. I know what a host should do to create a comfortable guest experience. My favorite countries visited: Norway, Canada, USA, and Denmark.
