Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Everything beautifully organised and lovely little welcoming touches. Silke and her family were very helpful.
The apartment is exactly as advertised and reviewed. It was clean as could be, quiet and located close enough to the UN to walk in nice weather. The owner was friendly and took extra time to make sure my devices hooked up to the building internet hotspot. With the nice price, this was a great option for a week of meetings.
Great apartment! I visited for a couple weeks for work at the UN (~25 min walk) and this was exactly what I wanted: quiet, private, spacious, comfortable, well-furnished, wifi-enabled, and affordable. Excellent value.
Silke and her husband were perfect hosts, they helped me we anything I needed, and were very welcoming.
Very nice apartment. Large and clean. Recently renovated. Silke is a very nice host and try to accommodate. The apartment is about 25 mins walk from train station and about 20 mins walk to United Nation. Highly recommended.
Excellent experience; wonderful and comfortable apartment. Close to bus line 600 that goes to Bonn HBF. The hosts also provide a bicycle for moving around the neighborhood. Hosts very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend.
Both Silke and her husband were very welcoming and ensured that I had everything I needed during my stay. When I arrived, Silke came downstairs to show me the apartment and help me to settle in. She had already prepared notes regarding local amenities, restaurants, etc - but also helped me to figure out how to get to my workplace using public transport (I had come to Bonn on business). There were two bottles of water (still and sparkling) and coffee/tea waiting for me in the kitchen, so that I could enjoy a refreshment before heading out to the supermarket to buy whatever else I needed. Silke's husband was also super helpful in getting me set up on the internet, not only upon my arrival but also at 8am on the morning I was leaving, when I had to make a (website hidden) call abroad. They really went out of their way to be hospitable.
The apartment is much bigger than it appears in the photos, and it was clean and pretty, so I felt totally spoiled. I didn't spend that much time in the apartment because I was at work functions from early morning till late evening, but it was a pleasure to stay there, and the bed is very comfortable.
The location of the apartment could not be better. Just a short walk to buses in every direction, and around 10 minutes to get to Poppelsdorf, which has some of the best restaurants in Bonn. I would definitely stay there again during my next trip to Bonn.
