The house is an amazing 3 bedroom-4 bath contemporary style residence in one of Austin's most sought after neighborhoods: Chestnut.
You will have your own fully furnished bedroom with attached bathroom. The kitchen, living room, and outside patio will be shared and is fully stocked and furnished.
The place is quiet, cool, tastefully decorated and safe. I live in the house but am so busy, you would hardly see me around !
Bars, restaurants and public transportation are within short walking distance hundred feet from the house.
You wont need a car at all unless you don't feel comfortable with public transport or biking. We'll provide you a bike and all information you'll need to have an awesome stay in Austin! We take great pride in hosting and show our love for Austin:)
If you're looking for a place to regroup when in town, this is the place for you!
And all I am looking for is someone who can treat this beautiful home as their own :-) Come enjoy life in beautiful Austin!
Guests have access to a full kitchen, laundry, guest parking, bike and free wireless.
Interaction with guests
I am a full time health professional who loves to go out on weekends and on some evenings as well. I can be as helpful as you need me to while leaving you to enjoy the place all by yourself. There's a lot of information about public transportation, nearby restaurants, bars and delivery places available.
Manor Road is the one of the best neighborhoods in Austin. You are 3miles from downtown lake and just 3 blocks from the coolest bars and restaurants in town.
You're also right by the University if Texas in Austin without the noise, pollution and traffic. You can bike ( there's a guest bike available for you), ride the metro, or drive.
You are between Interstate 35 and Airport Blvd. Airport is only 15-20 minutes away and ridesharing services like Fasten or Fare shouldn't cost you more than $20. Easy access everywhere.
Quiet, super-safe, clean, beautiful, meticulously maintained, etc.
The public bus system runs a few blocks from the house. Ridesharing services are plenty and run often in East Austin. You're only U$ 3-6 dollars away from most downtown, University of Texas and Western spots and landmarks in Austin. Lastly if Im in town and not working a shift and you're not arriving late hours it would be a pleasure to pick you up at the airport to get you acquainted with the neighborhood.
Other things to note
Our two 14 and 11 year old Boxer/Labrador mix dogs stay downstairs in a gated area by the kitchen. We love them and they get our full attention with daily walks and hikes on weekends.
But they won't be upstairs to keep ours and your area clean and prevent allergies.
We appreciate if you choose to smoke outside in the patio. There's a large outdoor patio right upfront next to your bedroom/bathroom. Unfortunately pets can't stay in the apt due to our 2 lab mix dogs...
I don't wear shoes upstairs in the house to reduce the cost and time spent cleaning, especially carpet and area rugs. I'd appreciate if you could help offset maintenance costs too:)
You can leave your shoes downstairs by the front door or by the stairway whatever your more comfortable:)
You're free to use washer and dryer, fridge and adjust aircon. Please don't forget to turn aircon/heat off once you leave if you decide to change settings.
My ideal guest is someone who will treat the apartment as their own :-)

I am an avid traveller who loves to look at World maps and dream about the next destination:-) Have been to over 40 countries. Nothing compares to the excitement and newness of arriving in a remote town! Pushker in India, Aswan in Egypt, Lombok in Indonesia and Kathmandu in Nepal are my favorite destinations:-) Can't live without travelling, good food and good companion!
While back home yes, I work hard and long hours in Health Care. When back home I love to visit friends around the country and make home as comfortable and cosy. Love movies, checking out new bars, restaurants and hosting! Hosting allows me to travel through my guests.
