The neighbourhood is truly beautiful! Quiet streets with very friendly people around. Our french is not good at all but after some of the locals there saw us trying the jumped in with English to help us out. Amazing restaurants, cafés and good shopping too!
Flavia had left instructions out for the wifi and had a folder of great suggestions from past people who stayed.
The apartment's location is great, and the unit itself is also pretty comfortable. We met Flavia on the first day, and since we didn't have any issues, we never saw her again. The only thing to know about the unit is that it's on the 4th floor. If you have any problems with stairs, you might want to reconsider.
Overall, great place & highly recommended.
Beautiful left bank apartment, very spacious for a couple and a fantastic location near rue du Bac.
My 7 year old daughter and I just arrived home :( from a glorious 5 day visit to Paris. Our stay in Flavia's place was fabulous. The apartment is super cute, had everything we needed and was very quiet at night (we had some great sleeps). Location was a short walk to almost everything and considering I was with a little one, we felt very safe. Our 1st day we had trouble with the hair dryer and I sent a note to Flavia who had it fixed asap. We just loved it! Great value and we appreciated all the travel books and tips :) Highly recommended!
The place was as described and in a fantastic location. Flavia was relatively responsive.
Flavia was out of town, so unfortunately we didn't get to meet her. I thought it was nice that she was very responsive through AirBnb and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. She accommodated to our travel plans since we were coming from San Francisco, so that was great! My fiancé and I were able to work with her housekeeper, Julius, and he was also very nice, helpful, and responsive.
The location is in a super safe neighborhood, and quite spacious for Paris compared to other places. There is no elevator, so just beware when you bring luggage but we didn't mind.
A few things I'd note:
the windows wouldn't close- and one night it was fairly windy so there was slamming every so often. I'm not sure what we would have done if it rained.
The towels were clean, but very old and crispy (or rough), so I would recommend a few new ones since guests are using them so often.
The amenities were all there- blow dryer, iron, etc. but they were also somewhat old.
Overall, we still liked the place! Thanks, Flavia!
