  • Molly's place was awesome. BBQ fires right up, porch is spacious with lots of sun, beds were comfortable, house was clean, and the restaurant/pub down the street is a good time!

  • Molly was a terrific host. She was extremely responsive and went above and beyond in helping orient us to the area. The house is located among beautiful farmland with great access to numerous activities. My kids loved exploring the grounds and playing badminton.

  • Molly is a terrific host-- easy to reach, super responsive and very hospitable. She gave me several great recommendations for local entertainment and exploring (swimming holes and hikes, antiquing, farmers' marketing, (email hidden) within walking distance of the house), all of which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The house is quite visibly a labor of love and Molly's good handiwork and eye for detail is obvious everywhere. I had the whole house to myself and hated to leave. It would be a great place to gather a group of friends together to enjoy a weekend out of the city. There's plenty of room to sprawl out in the living and enjoy the piano (do be sure to invite someone along who can play!) and a perfect natural light that filters in through handmade muslin curtains. Just a lovely place to sit and pass the day.

Location was terrific. The house is a short drive to scores of charming villages-- really! Scores! There's one around every bend. Cooperstown is perhaps the most perfectly preserved and definitely worth a visit.

Lots of pretty farmland to enjoy along the drives. Definitely stop and buy some elk steaks from Everett Yerdon at Rosebrook Farm and grill them up on the back deck! The friendliest people in the world live in Ostego county.

I'll very much look forward to visiting Molly's home again.

  • Molly's house was truly lovely, clean and spacious. The backyard is huge and ends in an apple orchard. There is a deck to BBQ on and look at the scenery. It was extremely relaxing and we enjoyed her record collection too. The dog was in heaven lying the yard or exploring the orchard. We look forward to returning. The Pleasant Brook Hotel was fun to have some beers and pizza and talk with the owner and his dad who was bartending. And you can walk there in 5 minutes.!

  • Molly's space was traditional farm house and immaculate.
She was always very pleasant and easy to reach. Her varied record collection also added such a fun element to our time there! Wireless worked well but cell reception is spotty - you're in the beautiful countryside after all. Go for a hike!

  • This is a great, old farmhouse in a beautiful area. The house has plenty of space to spread out, yet is warm and cozy. Our family of 4 slept great! This is a perfect location to visit everything in the area: Cooperstown, fishing at Otsego Lake, Ommegang Brewery, hiking, etc. with scenic drives everywhere. Don't miss the local pub at the Pleasant Brook Hotel - great pub food and drink at incredibly reasonable prices. Molly was responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
