Our apartment of approx 70m2 has been recently renovated in a prevailing rustic style. I adore natural materials so all the furniture is of real wood and handmade. I am sure you will like it. It's a place where I live with my husband and our little daughter. When renting it we move to my parents-in-law huge family house in Podgorica.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms, master bedroom with double bed and another bedroom with two single beds. Each room has built in closets and we can free some space for you. There is also a baby/child cot in the master bedroom but it is on a small wheels and you can move it into another room if you wish. Living room is quite big and has 2 hand made sofas of which one (90cm x 210cm) is very comfortable for an adult to sleep or can be pulled out and is then 180 cm x 210cm (for 2 adults or 3 children). We have cable TV with over 60 channels as well as wi-fi internet. Dining room is open to living room and has a table for 6 persons (but can be transformed into table for 8 persons). Kitchen contains all you need. Bathroom is also equipped with hand made wooden furniture. We have both wash machine and dishwasher. All 3 rooms are equipped with air-conditions.
Smoking is not allowed but you can smoke on a very small balcony (1x1m) that I left for that purpose ;-)
Linen and towels are provided.
Apartment is located on an upper groundfloor in an apartment building just accross main bus and railway station, 2 min walking distance but don't be afraid, you will hear no noise ;-) It is considered wider city centre and is not more than 10 min of walking distance from the main square in Sloboda Street. The airport is approx 15 min far by car (taxi is approx. 10EUR in one direction). Taxi is very cheap for city drives (approx 1.5 - 3 EUR to any part of the town). There is a nice restaurant ("Koliba") close to our place and hotel Ramada is 2 min from our building. If you wish to go to the city centre you will reach numerous cafes and restaurants in just 5-10min.
We are ready to provide you all instructions, advices and recommendations should you ask for it.
I had a last minute attempt to book Darja’s apartment (one day before arriving in Podgorica on a business trip), which made it too short of time for her to organize moving out to make space for us in her apartment. So I can’t comment about her place, but I can say that Darja was incredibly helpful, organizing a different place for me to stay, even finding out where my meetings would be taking place, to be sure the alternative place she could offer was an appropriate distance. In the end, the place I did stay was perfect, exactly what Darja had described in advance, including added touches like having fresh fruits, bread, coffee, toiletries, etc. available in the apartment, I had a great feeling of generosity from her part; from this perspective I would definitely recommend Darja.
