The space
Guest will have the comforts of home. There are flatscreens in every room so please bring your log-ins for Netflix, Xbox 360 ( currently temporarily removed ). There are plenty of sleeping, dining and entertaining spaces.
Based on The City of La Quinta's Good Neighbor policy , 8 max overnight, 12 during the day. Groups Of More Than 12 during the day Require A Permit From The City. This can be obtained by guest for their individual booking or by owner for a partial fee charge for group bookings ( this can be cheaper for guest ). The MANDATORY City of La Quinta TOT Tax 11% will be collected separately ) by owner before or within 24 hrs of arrival unless otherwise arranged or afterwards. If you have any questions regarding this process, please feel free to contact us or refer to The City of La Quinta site per vacation home rentals. All guest must follow PGA West rules and regulations and any citations given is the responsibility of the renters and their guest. Notification of such citations may take up to 3 months after issuance. Airbnb will aid in the collection in all such fees.
Bikes are available for your pleasure and some pool toys are on hand for use ( not supplied by host ). Golf Cart is owners private property & is not for guest use. Permit #110746
Guest access
There are 3 other public community pools and spas within walking distance and if you are a golfer, you can book a tee-time on one of the public courses at PGA West (PGA WEST rules apply). Silver Rock golf course is also a very close option. The weights in the garage can be used at your own risk and you are releasing host of liabilities when doing so. Independent house masseuse and private chef’s can be arranged ( additional fees apply and owner is not responsible for any agreement you make with them ).
Located close to Nicklaus Private is Ernies Bar and grill. This family friendly spot is perfect for meals and cocktails. Reservations recommended for larger crowds, take out is available.
Other things to note
*Governor orders ( Especially Stay Home orders ) and City ordinances will be followed. Please make sure you are aware of all before booking and check-ins. There will be additional Pga West community and house rules provided after booking as well as any other updated needed information. Please ask in advance if you have any questions. Cancellation policy is enforced unless host otherwise decides to give other options. Note: Any and all necessary proof of documentation will be required. Failure to provide requested documentation after booking can and may result in forfeiture of full payment.*
PGA West is very close to local grocery stores, Costco, Home depot, restaurants and extremely close to the Polo grounds for Coachella and Stage Coach. Music Festivals are booked at the weekly rate. Heating the pool is optional for an additional rate ( minimum $140 )The Spa fee ( minimum $70 ) is required for all bookings because there is no way of monitoring use. The pool is cleaned Wednesday’s & Saturday’s. Due to the windy nature of the houses location, debris may blow into the pool in between cleanings. Although we do our best to make sure the pool is always ready for use, we provide a skimmer for in between cleanings. If guest would like an additional cleaning, they can request it at their own cost. Service will also be based on cleaners available schedule. Some pets are allowed with an additional fee. It is recommended that you ask for a estimated quote for fees based on reservation time. Additional fees may apply based on booking in addition to the local mandatory 10% occupational tax ( As of July 1, 2021 this will be 11% ) and special event permits ( minimum $70- $ 6,000+) for larger parties. Note that there will be NO substitution or discounted rate if your party number changes after arrival. If you leave before your reservation ends, there will be NO adjusted refund for the time difference or guest substitution. If new city rules take place before or during your stay, we will do our best to update you with necessary information as it would relate to you. A copy of the good neighbor pamplet will be sent to you via text, email or handout. Quiet hours are posted in the house and generally begins at 9:00pm ( keep noise to a respectable level indoor and outside ). The home has Noise monitors to help protect you and the homeowner from citations. These monitors only record decibel levels and are not invasive of your privacy. Host is happy to answer any and all questions regarding noise monitors and cameras on property. Cameras are also used on the outside perimeter of the home for security purposes and are not invasive of your privacy.
